A sliding door for selectively opening and closing an opening is disclosed. The door comprises a first guide track defining a first linear guide path and a second guide track defining a second linear guide path. The second guide track is spaced from the first guide track. the door further comprises a door panel having a top edge, a bottom edge, a leading edge and a trailing edge. The door panel is adapted to translate laterally relative to the opening between a closed position and an open position. A first portion of the door panel is attached to the first guide track and a second portion of the door panel is attached to the second guide track.
Abstract:
A sliding track for sliding doors includes a sliding door track and a glass fixed panel track which have an inverted U-shape cross section with an opening facing downward. The sliding door track has a left and a right inner wall that have a pair of guiding tracks formed thereon to allow a plurality pairs of rollers which are hinged on a hanging track which is fastened to a sliding door on a lower side to roll thereon in a straddle manner. The sliding door track further has a pair of first wedge troughs on the upper left and upper right corners, and a pair of second wedge troughs on a lower side. The first and second wedge troughs are coupled with the glass fixed panel track. The sliding door track and the glass fixed panel track may also be coupled with an ornamental plate on the top. The glass fixed panel track may further be coupled with a sealing plate on the bottom.

Aspects of the invention pertain to a device and method for adjusting the mounting position of the window lifter guide rail of a motor vehicle window, particularly in a frameless motor vehicle door. The device comprises a lower member and an upper member, and a screw that extends through the locking member. The screw is in engagement with a nut that may be rotated to provide adjustment in a first direction. The upper and lower members may also be moved relative to one another to provide adjustment in another direction.

A single rail window regulator that uses a plate with two spaced, parallel guides that are integral to the plate. A lift member, adapted to receive a window pane, is slidably coupled to both guides. A cable is wrapped around two opposing pulleys that are mounted on the plate and a cable drum that is coupled a drive system. The ends of the cable are attached to the lift member. Activating the drive system moves the lift member along the rails.

The door panel translates laterally relative to the opening between a closed position and an open position. The door has a guide, a guide follower, and a reset member. The guide is mounted to a mounting surface located between the upper and lower extent of the opening, and comprises a first end disposed proximate the opening and a second end opposite the first end. The guide follower is attached to the door panel and disposed in operable engagement with the guide. The reset member is disposed proximate the second end of the guide. The reset member has a surface that is angularly oriented to facilitate operable engagement and alignment of the guide follower with the guide.

An elevator door system for an entrance opening to an elevator cab. The system includes a two-part door having an open position and a closed position. The two-part door includes a first door portion for traversing across and covering a portion of the entrance opening as the two-part door moves between the open position and the closed position of the two-part door. The two-part door also includes a second door portion for traversing across and covering another portion of the entrance opening as the two-part door moves between the open position and the closed position of the two-part door. A header track includes a rail with a door track for guiding movement of the first and the second door portions. The door track is held onto the rail of the header track via an S-shaped spring clip.

A mounting device for mounting a cable-operated window regulator for a vehicle to an inner panel of the vehicle, the cable-operated window regulator includes a guide rail for guiding a window glass; a reversible winding unit for raising and lowering the window glass by winding and rewinding at least one cable which is wound on upper and lower guide members provided at upper and lower ends of the guide rail, respectively; upper and lower fixing member which are integrally formed with upper and lower ends of the guide rail, respectively; and a service hole formed on the inner panel. The lower fixing member is fixed to an outer surface of the inner panel near a lower edge of the service hole. The upper fixing member is fixed to an inner surface of the inner panel near an upper edge of the service hole.

A guide piece, for connecting the fixing region of a guide rail to the door frame of a vehicle door, whereby the guide piece may be fixed in the external skin thereof, houses a fixing means and the fixing region of the guide rail which may be adjusted in the direction of the vehicle transverse axis (Y-axis) within the guide piece. The guide piece with fixing clips in slots in the external skin can be adjusted in the direction of the vehicle longitudinal axis (X-axis) as required, relative to the external skin of the door frame and may be pre-positioned on the fixing region of the guide rail with a positive fit. The guide piece is embodied in two pieces and comprises a cover which may be connected to a baseplate, between which a part of the fixing means is positively fitted and a part of the fixing region of the guide rail is adjustably arranged perpendicular to the plane of the vehicle door (Y-axis).

The present invention relates to an apparatus to suspend garage door drives that are fitted with a drive unit and a guide rail, preferably a C-shaped guide rail. The apparatus typically includes a rail with assembly holes and a clamp to engage around the guide rail. The rail has respective plate-like widened sections at the sides which carry folded prolongations at diagonally opposite end edges which can engage around the guide rail like a clamp.
