摘要： In a combination hanger and indicator tab, the hanger has a hook extending upward from a body, and forming an angle with the body, with a rib extending around the periphery of the hanger at least in part of the region of the intersection between the hook and the body. The indicator tab has two opposing side walls connected by an end wall. The side walls preferably have a through opening therethrough, while the end walls preferably have a first notch on at least one free side thereof, but more preferably both. A receiving boss extends inward from one or both side walls, the receiving boss having a second notch therein for receiving the rib of the hanger. Optionally, an incline rises from the interior surface of the size wall carrying the receiving boss towards the top of the second notch. A bar suspended by the center thereof between the opposing side walls and the end wall of the indicator has free ends sized and dimensioned to deflect by engaging the rib of the hanger when the rib is received in the second notch of the receiving boss.

摘要： A garment retention system includes a garment hanger having a body, a hook extending from the body for suspending the hanger from a support, first and second arms extending laterally from the body to respective first and second distal ends. At least one arm has an attachment retention surface with a surface normal directed generally towards the body and in a generally opposite direction from the distal end of that. A garment retention attachment extends between the attachment retention surface and the distal end of the at least one arm. The garment retention attachment includes a first means for engaging the attachment retention surface, and a second means for engaging the distal end of the at least one arm. The garment retention system is enhanced by providing the garment retention attachment with friction-increasing surface features on an upwardly facing side of thereof, and/or by judicious selection of material for the garment retention attachment.

An indicator includes a pair of opposing side walls connected by a pair of opposing end walls, with an opening in the top of the indicator, the opening defined at least in part by a displaceable resilient tab, preferably two positioned on opposite sides of the indicator, attached to one of the side walls or end walls, wherein displacement of the tab enlarges the opening to admit the flange. At least some portion of the post between the flange and the body is smaller than the flange to reduce the displacement of the tab.

摘要： A coordinate loop garment hanger comprising a molded plastic hanger body having a hook receiving loop element depending from and molded integrally with the molded plastic body at a lower portion thereof. The hook receiving loop element includes a passageway for selectively receiving and suspending therefrom a hook of a second ganged garment hanger which is at least partially enclosed along its length by left, right, top and bottom surfaces. In one embodiment, the left, right, top and bottom surfaces define substantially parallel left and right sides and rounded and curved top and bottom surfaces. The passageway is also curved along its length, with the open ends thereof being slightly lower than the center thereof. Several different embodiments of the loop element are disclosed with different length and shape sides, bottoms and ends. Several different embodiments are also disclosed of the cross sectional shape of the passageway defined by the loop element, including downward tapering, upward tapering, circular and hourglass shaped passageways. A mold and a method are also disclosed for molding the coordinate loop garment hanger body. The mold comprises first and second mold halves and a moveable mold piece which is pivotally inserted into the mold shape of the loop element during a molding operation to define and mold the interior shape of the passageway.

摘要： A pinch grip hanger mechanism dispenses pinch grip hangers, one at a time, and then opens the pinch grips for insertion of a garment. The insertion of a garment triggers the closing of the pinch grips, and reciprocation of a hanger feed push plate to dispense another hanger. The device may also automatically attach size indicia to the hanger as the hanger is dispensed. The closing of the pinch grips is initiated by safety triggers, which are triggered by insertion of a garment. This provides a safety feature for the device, since the operator needs to use both hands to hold the garment taut for insertion. Thus, both hands are away from the device at the time the pinch grips are opened and closed.

The garment hanger including: a body having at least one web for removably securing a size indicator to the body, the web having a fixed latch and a pivoting latch; and a size indicator having finger means for engaging the fixed and pivoting latches. The method including: (a) feeding the garment hanger to an indicator removal station; (b) supporting the garment hanger at the indicator removal station for removal of the size indicator; (c) depressing the pivoting latch to pivot the same out of engagement with the finger means to release the size indicator from the web; (d) collecting the released size indicator; (e) removing the garment hanger from the indicator removal station; and (f) repeating steps (a) to (e) for each of a plurality of hangers sequentially fed to the indicator removal station.
