摘要： A tape cassette capable of permitting a reel spring to be readily and accurately positioned on a casing for its mounting to highly improve workability and productivity in manufacturing of the tape cassette. The tape cassette includes a reel spring which is abutted against tape reels for elastically holding them. The reel spring comprises a spring body formed at an intermediate portion thereof in a longitudinal direction thereof with a plurality of mounting holes through which the reel spring is mounted on an inner surface of an upper casing member. The spring body is provided on each of both sides thereof in the longitudinal direction with one or two positioning recesses, each of which is positioned adjacent to each of the mounting holes.

摘要： A tape take-up hub which comprises a circular ring having an outer wall surface on which a length of magnetic tape is taken up and an inner wall surface defining an opening with which the ring can fit onto a driving shaft and formed with three key ways adapted to mesh with keys formed on the driving shaft, said ring having a thickness substantially equal to the width of the magnetic tape, the improvement which further includes, as additionally formed on either side of the circular ring, three protrusions of the same height and three recesses of a depth greater than the height of the protrusions and adapted to receive the corresponding protrusions of an adjacent hub of an identical structure. The protrusions and recesses are equally spaced apart along one and the same circle and are aligned in position to those formed on the reverse side of the same circular ring.

摘要： A tape cassette housing capable of ensuring safety of a tape cassette in non-use of the tape cassette or during storage and transportation of the tape cassette. The tape cassette housing includes a housing body, a cover, a hinge for relatively openably connecting the housing body and cover to each other, and one or two pairs of projections provided on an inner surface of one of the housing body or cover. The projections are arranged in a manner to positionally correspond to pressing members of a tape cassette for holding reels of the tape cassette through the pressing members when the tape cassette housing is closed while receiving the tape cassette therein, to securely hold the pressing members, resulting in rendering the reels immovable in the tape cassette without any clattering. The housing may be provided with a locking mechanism for locking the housing body and cover together when the tape cassette housing is closed, to thereby further enhance safety of the tape cassette.

An outer lid is pivotally mounted on the case to open and close the outside of the passage through which the magnetic tape is stretched along the front of the case. 摘要： A tape cassette has a case with upper and lower halves and an open space at the front thereof. A magnetic tape housed in the case is wound around a pair of reels. A brake is slidably mounted on the inner surface of the lower half of the case to prevent the reels from being rotated. Part of a spring is attached to the brake. The spring has free ends and urges the brake in a direction. A device for positioning the spring includes a partition wall on the inner surface of the lower half of the case which partitions the open case from the inside of the case. An independent abutment member on the partition wall abuts the free ends of the spring.

摘要： A magnetic disc cartridge is composed of a pair of upper and lower case members so as to form a hard case to accommodate a magnetic disc therein. An aperture for access of a read-write head to the magnetic disc extends in a radial direction, which aperture is selectively covered by a shutter. The case has a groove on the peripheral edge thereof to receive a shutter actuation pin. The groove extends across the adjoining surfaces of the two case members. A groove portion defined by the lower case member is more enlarged than the remaining groove portion defined by the upper case member so that the shutter actuation pin does not catch in the step between the two groove portions.
