Abstract: Disclosed is a touch input device including: a touch sensor including a plurality of electrodes; a drive unit configured to apply a driving signal to at least some of the plurality of electrodes of the touch sensor; a touch signal detection unit configured to detect a touch-position-related signal related to a touch position of an object inputted to the touch surface from at least some of the plurality of electrodes of the touch sensor; and an LGM disturbance signal detection unit configured to detect an LGM-disturbance-signal-related signal related to an LGM disturbance signal generated from the touch surface from at least some of the plurality of electrodes of the touch sensor.

Abstract: A touch input device is disclosed that may comprise a display panel and/or a touch sensor. The touch sensor may include a driving electrode and/or a receiving electrode that may be disposed on the display panel and/or inside the display panel. The touch input device may comprise an electrode pattern that may be disposed on a bottom surface of the display panel. The touch input device may comprise a controller that may be configured to provide a first driving signal to the driving electrode of the touch sensor. The controller may be configured to receive a touch detection signal from the receiving electrode of the touch sensor. The controller may be configured to detect a touch position, perhaps for example based on the touch detection signal. The controller may be configured to provide a second driving signal different from the first driving signal to the electrode pattern.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a touch apparatus including: a touch panel configured to include a plurality of touch electrodes; a touch driver configured to apply a first driving signal to a first touch electrode of the touch electrodes during a first period, and a second driving signal to the touch electrodes during a second period subsequent to the first period; and a touch controller configured to determine a detection signal as a valid touch signal based on whether a signal strength of the detection signal received in response to the first driving signal exceeds a first threshold during the first period, wherein the detection signal include at least one of a first detection signal generated by a first touch object and a second detection signal generated by a second touch object, and the first detection signal is determined as a valid touch signal, while the first threshold is set to filter the second detection signal.

Abstract: Technologies for manufacturing a touch input device are disclosed. The method includes: forming, on a single carrier substrate, a flexible display for each of a plurality of display devices, cutting the flexible display into individual pieces, and separating the flexible display from the carrier substrate; a separate structure different from electrodes may be used to detect touch position forming step of forming, under a single substrate, a separate structure different from electrodes may be used to detect touch position for each of the plurality of display devices and cutting the substrate for the separate structure into individual pieces; and adhering each of the individual pieces of the separated flexible display to an individual piece of the substrate for the separate structure. The substrate for the separate structure may not be relatively easily bent as compared to the flexible display.
