Abstract:
A data processing method, a device, and a system for a storage unit in order to avoid performing repeated data read operations on the storage unit where the method includes recording, by a first server for at least one storage unit used to store data, information about a storage unit in which a repairable fault occurs but repairing fails, querying, by the first server each time a request for reading data is received, whether the storage unit corresponding to the recorded information about the storage unit stores a part or all of the data, and when the storage unit corresponding to the recorded information stores the data, returning, to a requesting party that sends the request, a message indicating that reading the data fails, or otherwise, reading the data from a storage unit that stores the data, and feeding back the data to the requesting party that sends the request.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a user data processing apparatus and method, and a system. In the user data processing apparatus disclosure, an interface management unit receives user data; at least two service units process the user data, where the at least two service units include a session unit and at least one of a bearer unit, a service flow unit, or a content unit; the interface management unit determines the session unit configured to process the user data, and sends the received user data to the determined session unit; and the session unit determines another service unit configured to process the user data. After receiving the user data, the GW-U determines the service unit configured to process the user data, and processes the user data by using the service unit determined by the GW-U. This improves processing flexibility of the GW-U.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide an IP address allocation system and method, which implement, if a control plane is separated from a forwarding plane, a function that enables user equipment to acquire an internet protocol (IP) address in a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) manner. The method includes: receiving, by a forwarder, an address request sent by an external network element, where the address request includes a DHCP request of user equipment UE and user characteristic information of the UE; acquiring, from a DHCP service network element according to the DHCP request, an IP address allocated to the UE; and acquiring first instruction information that is delivered by a control device according to the user characteristic information of the UE and the IP address allocated to the UE, and sending the IP address to the UE according to the user characteristic information.
Abstract:
Determining, by a first mobility management network element and a second mobility management network element that are ISR associated, that a serving gateway fails, and saving, by the first mobility management network element and the second mobility management network element, a context of a user equipment that the serving gateway serves; receiving, by the first mobility management network element or the second mobility management network element, a trigger, and executing a service restoration process for the user equipment. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the mobility management network element executes a service restoration process, thereby ensuring normal operation of a service.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and device for handling a failure of a mobility management device in an ISR activated scenario. The method includes: detecting, by a serving gateway, a failure of a first mobility management device; and when the serving gateway receives downlink user plane or control plane data of a user equipment, paging, by the serving gateway, the user equipment using a downlink data notification message including identity information of the user equipment, in a first radio access network connected to the first mobility management device.
Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention provide a paging processing method and system and also a serving gateway. The paging processing method includes: detecting, by a serving gateway, a fault of a mobility management element, determining a type of the fault, and reselecting a mobility management element according to the type of the fault; and sending, by the serving gateway, a downlink data notification message to the reselected mobility management element, whereupon the reselected mobility management element sends a paging message to a user equipment UE that is served by the faulty mobility management element before the fault occurs. With the method, system and serving gateway provided in the embodiments of the present invention, user experience is improved effectively.
