    摘要: A method for assigning access information for a teleconference to a group of conferees comprises assigning a conference I.D. number to the group of conferees, and dividing the conference I.D. number into a first portion and a second portion. An input sequence is derived from the first portion of the conference I.D. number and assigned to the group of conferees. A PIN is derived from the second portion of the conference I.D. number and assigned to each conferee of the group of conferees. In another embodiment, a teleconferencing bridge includes a programmable device effecting a sequence of instructions comprising receiving information derived from a first string of digits entered by a conferee, receiving a PIN entered by the conferee, deriving, from the PIN and a portion of the information derived from the first string of digits, a conference I.D. number, and validating the conference I.D. number.

    摘要: A sabot for retaining therein a conventionally shaped tapered-nose bullet when the sabot is seated in place in a shotgun shell casing, so that the shotgun can be used to fire conventional lead or copper jacketed lead bullets in a shotgun. The sabot includes a unitary body having a cylindrical portion and a truncated conical portion, the cylindrical portion and the truncated conical portion sharing a common longitudinal axis, the conical portion having a wide diameter at one end thereof and a narrow diameter at the other end thereof, the narrow diameter end being adjacent to the cylindrical portion, the unitary body having longitudinally disposed therein a chamber, the longitudinally disposed chamber for receiving therein a conventionally shaped tapered-nose bullet, the unitary body being distortable such that the wide diameter of the conical portion can assume a diameter substantially the same as the interior diameter of the shotgun shell casing when the unitary body is inserted therein, the distortion of the unitary body causing impingement of the longitudinal chamber on the tapered-nose of the conventionally shaped tapered-nose bullet, said distortion for retaining in the longitudinal chamber the conventionally shaped tapered-nose bullet, release of the unitary body from the shotgun shell causing the unitary body to return to the undistorted shape thereof so as to release the conventionally shaped tapered-nose bullet.

Aspects of the method may comprise selecting a portion of a preamble, and shifting the selected portion of the preamble to generate a plurality of subsequent preambles. The preamble may comprise a legacy preamble and/or an 802.11(n) preamble. The selected portion of the preamble may comprise a short training sequence. The shifting may comprise circular shifting. The circular shifting may comprise forward circular shifting and/or backwards circular shifting. The generated plurality of subsequent preambles may be transmitted via a plurality of antennas. A phase roll may be added to the selected portion of the preamble to generate the plurality of subsequent preambles.

    摘要: Disclosed is a system and method for assembling a data packet. The system can be implemented as four memory elements associated with one or more processors. The first memory element stores a sequence number and a sub-channel identifier for an incoming data packet. The second memory element stores a revised packet fragment. The third memory element stores an unrevised packet fragment. The fourth memory element stores a starting address. In the system, the starting address may be the starting address of the revised packet fragment or the unrevised packet fragment wherein the first memory element identifies portions of the fourth memory element associated with the sequence number. The one or more processors are configured to create a modified data packet by combining the unrevised packet fragments and the revised packet fragment, wherein the modified data packet is associated with the sequence number and sub-channel identifier.
