    摘要: A finder provided with a distance measuring device for measuring a distance to an object being photographed by projecting infrared light from a light emitting means through a projection optical system onto the object and by receiving the reflected light from the object through a light collecting optical system at photosensitive means. Positioned in a space between the projection optical system and the light collecting optical system is an objective lens of a mark finder. Light transmitted through said objective lens is directed through a half mirror to an eyepiece; a field framing plate and a reflection mirror are provided with respective openings at the center thereof and arranged so that either one of the light paths of the above described projection optical system and light collecting optical system passes through the openings, and light entering through the frame marks of the field framing plate is directed to the eyepiece after successive reflection from the reflection mirror and the half mirror.

    摘要: An inverted-telephoto lens, particularly of a small size, is disclosed. A negative meniscus lens having a convex surface faces the object. This is followed by a positive lens consisting of a bi-convex lens cemented to a negative lens, a bi-concave lens, a positive meniscus lens having a convex surface directed toward the image and a positive lens having a highly convex lens facing the image. A diaphragm is located between the bi-convex lens and the bi-concave lens. To correct distortion and curvature of field, the negative meniscus lens is highly curved. The spherical aberration, the coma and the halo of the off-axial sagital rays subject to the above correction are corrected by means of the highly positive cemented surface of the positive biconvex cemented lens.

    摘要: A camera is provided that has an automatic focus detector and a manually operable focus adjustment device, in which the focus adjustment device can be set at a predetermined position or range falling outside of an ordinary focus adjusting range. At the same time a coordinating device is provided which functions to secure an appropriate depth of field (or a hyper focal range) by coordinating the focus adjustment and the exposure aperture adjustment when the focus adjustment device is set at the predetermined position or range. Thus even in a case when the focus detector can not function effectively, practically satisfactory photographing can be done by the action of the coordinating device.In a preferred example of the present invention the focusing condition of a photo-taking lens system is automatically adjusted according to an exposure aperture value (i.e. f-stop value) by the action of the coordinating device in a condition in which the focus adjustment device is set at the predetermined position.In another preferred example of the present invention, the size of the exposure aperture is automatically limited to a predetermined aperture size or smaller according to the set position of the lens system by the action of the coordinating device in a condition in which the focus adjustable device is set at a predetermined position or range.

    摘要: A single lens reflex camera having a sharp focus detecting arrangement with one or more photoelectric cell or cells of an outer zone of a light beam entering through a photo-taking lens wholly or in parts and responsive to transition of light distribution change past the point of sharp focus for producing an electrical output signal. The signal is used to provide a display in the field of view of the camera finder, thereby the accuracy of detection of a condition of sharp focus can be improved regardless of the otherwise insufficient total amount of incident light, as the distinctness of the image, or the relative position of the projection paths in an outer zone of the field is changed by a larger amount than that in the central zone. This arrangement may be embodied in such a manner that a reflex mirror which, in its viewing position, deflects the light from the photo-taking lens to a focusing screen glass is made light-permeable to half or full transmittance either in an outer annular zone or in two parts relatively spaced far from each other in symmetry with respect to the optical axis of the lens, and operates with an auxiliary mirror positioned behind the reflex mirror to deflect the light beam or beams passing through the reflex mirror out of the optical axis to the photoelectric cell or cells.

    摘要: This invention relates to a system for automatic focus adjustment of an optical system particularly adapted for use in a photographic camera which utilizes non-linear resistance versus illumination response characteristics which are prominent in photoconductive cells such as cadmium sulfide and cadmium selenide cells. In one embodiment, a pair of photoconductive cells, one of which has a photoconductive surface having elongated side portions which contact the electrodes along the length of the elongated side portions and another cell which has an elongated photoconductive surface and shortened end portions and which contact the electrodes only at the shortened end portions, are arranged so that portions of an image-forming light beam entering through an objective of the camera are directed to the photoconductive surfaces on which similar real images of an object are formed. The objective includes at least one lens member movable for focusing associated with an automatic focus control mechanism operative in response to variation of an electrical output signal of the photoconductive cell assembly produced when the degree of sharpness of the image on each of the photoconductive surfaces is varied as the focussing member is moved for focussing purposes with respect to the photoconductive cell assembly.
