    Abstract: Provided are an image encoding/decoding method, a bitstream transmission method, and a computer-readable recording medium which stores a bitstream. An image decoding method according to the present disclosure may be an image decoding method performed by an image decoding device, the method comprising the steps of: determining whether a cross component sample adaptive offset (CC-SAO) is activated, on the basis of a value of a first syntax element; deriving collocated luma samples and collocated chroma samples corresponding to each other from reconstructed samples on the basis of a chroma format of the reconstructed samples, on the basis of the value of the first syntax element specifying that the CC-SAO is activated; and determining an offset to be applied to the reconstructed samples on the basis of the collocated luma samples and the collocated chroma samples.

    Abstract: An image decoding method according to the present document comprises the steps of: acquiring, from a bitstream, reference line index information indicating a reference line to be used for intra prediction of a current block; constructing a most probable mode (MPM) list by deriving candidate intra prediction modes of the current block on the basis of the value of the reference line index information; deriving the intra prediction mode of the current block on the basis of the MPM list; generating prediction samples for the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode; and generating restoration samples for the current block on the basis of the prediction samples, wherein, on the basis of the case in which the value of the reference line index information is not zero, one of the candidate intra prediction modes is a DC mode and the number of candidate intra prediction modes including the DC mode is 5.

    Abstract: An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus include features of generating a prediction block by performing intra prediction on a current block, determining whether to apply position dependent intra prediction combination (PDPC) to the prediction block, and generating a final prediction block of the current block, by applying PDPC to the prediction block based on the determination. The determining whether to apply PDPC to the prediction block may include determining whether a size of the current block satisfies a predetermined condition. Based on the size of the current block satisfying the predetermined condition, it may be determined to apply PDPC to the prediction block. Based on the size of the current block not satisfying the predetermined condition, a determination of a color component of the current block may be skipped and it may be determined not to apply PDPC to the prediction block.
