摘要： An apparatus for generating sets of radio parameters includes a first deriving unit deriving a set of radio parameters for specifying a symbol including an effective symbol part with the same period as the effective symbol part specified by another set of radio parameters and a guard interval part with a different period from the guard interval part specified by the other set of radio parameters. The apparatus further includes a second deriving unit deriving a set of radio parameters so that an occupancy proportion of the guard interval part in a single symbol specified by another set of radio parameters is equal to an occupancy proportion of the guard interval part in a single symbol specified by the other set of radio parameters.

摘要： A centralized-control base station connected to a first transceiving unit and a second transceiving unit includes a first signal quality obtaining unit configured to obtain both uplink signal quality from a mobile station to the first transceiving unit and downlink signal quality from the first transceiving unit to the mobile station; a second signal quality obtaining unit configured to obtain both uplink signal quality from the mobile station to the second transceiving unit and downlink signal quality from the second transceiving unit to the mobile station; and a control unit configured to allow downlink data to be transmitted from the first transceiving unit, downlink feedback information to be received by the second transceiving unit, uplink data to be received by the second transceiving unit, and uplink feedback information to be transmitted from the first transceiving unit, when the downlink signal quality from the first transceiving unit to the mobile station is better than the downlink signal quality from the second transceiving unit to the mobile station and the uplink signal quality from the mobile station to the second transceiving unit is better than the uplink signal quality from the mobile station to the first transceiving unit.

摘要： A base station apparatus is used in a region in which a first system and a second system co-exist. In the first system, mobile communication is conducted using a variable system bandwidth not more than a basic bandwidth. In the second system, mobile communication is conducted using a variable system bandwidth which is not more than a bandwidth of an advanced system band which is at least as wide as multiple of the basic bandwidths. The base station apparatus generates a control signal for the first system and a control signal for the second system, orthogonally multiplexes them, and includes the same in a downlink signal to transmit the downlink signal. The advanced system band is divided such that it includes multiple of areas (P, Q, R, S) of the basic bandwidth. The control signal for the first system is included in one of the areas (Q). The control signal for the second system is included in at least one of the areas (P, Q, R, S).

The synchronization channel includes a primary synchronization channel and a secondary synchronization channel. The primary synchronization channel includes multiple types of sequences, and the secondary synchronization channel transmitted in a sector of a cell includes a code derived from a predefined generation polynomial equation corresponding to the primary synchronization channel.
