    摘要: An electronic communication device such as a portable radiotelephone includes a housing and a keypad cover mounted on the housing to rotate about a pivot axis. A hinge connects the keypad cover to the housing and includes a pair of hinge pins extending along the pivot axis between the cover and the housing. The cover includes at least one aperture aligned with the hinge pins, the apertures allowing access to the hinge pins from outside the device to facilitate removal of the keypad cover from the housing. Additionally, the hinge pins include grooved end portions that cooperate with protrusions on the cover to snap the keypad cover toward its open and closed positions.

    摘要: There is proposed a bulb which is coated with an optical interference film consisting of alternately formed thin titanium oxide layers and metal oxide layers of a lower refractive index than that of titanium oxide layers. The characteristics of the bulb reside in the formation of each titanium oxide layer which is formed by thermal decomposition of a mixture consisting of 5 to 50 parts by weight of Ti(OR).sub.4 and 95 to 50 parts by weight of polymerized Ti(OR).sub.4, where R are C.sub.1 to C.sub.18 alkyl group, --OCOR' (R' is C.sub.1 to C.sub.18 alkyl group or --X radical which is capable of forming a chelate ring with titanium.

    摘要: A process for fluid catalytic cracking of a starting oil selected from the group consisting of a distillation residual oil, a solvent deasphalted oil derived therefrom and a hydrodesulfurized oil derived therefrom, which comprises withdrawing a part of catalyst particles circulating through a fluid catalytic cracking unit, sending the withdrawn catalyst particles by means of a carrier fluid selected from the group consisting of air, nitrogen, steam and the mixtures thereof at a rate of 0.01 to 100 meters/second in a particle concentration of 0.01 to 500 g/liter to a high gradient magnetic separator in which a ferromagnetic matrix is placed in a uniform high magnetic field to generate a high magnetic gradient around the matrix, thereby separating the withdrawn catalyst particles into a group of particles rendered magnetic by the deposition of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of nickel, vanadium, iron and copper which are contained in the starting oil and a group of non-magnetic particles; and returning the non-magnetic particles to the fluid catalytic cracking unit for re-use.
