In some aspects, a BS may transmit a downlink control information (DCI) message that includes an indication of the scheduled FD UL and DL traffic scheduling combination. The FD UL and DL traffic scheduling combination may identify scheduled UL and DL transmissions for FD mode operation. The UE may receive the DCI message and identify the scheduled FD UL and DL traffic scheduling combination. In some aspects, the BS may provide a DCI message to the UE that indicates whether a DL transmission is being scheduled that at least partially overlaps with a scheduled UL transmission. The UE may initiate a power save mode based on the received DCI message.
