摘要： Apparatus and method for fastening a denture plate with many artificial teeth to a plurality of implants screwed into the bone is disclosed that may be completed on the same day as surgical implantation of the implants. The denture plate is prepared before surgery. A rigid metal bar is prepared that is fitted to register with the implants after the implants have been implanted. The rigid metal bar is affixed to the denture plate. Screws through the bar are received into the top of each implant to thereby secure the bar and the attached denture plate to the implants. This distributes the tooth forces among the implants for enhanced function. The bar is composed of a metal attachment for each implant. A pair of wings extends out from each attachment. The attachments are temporarily mounted on the implants so that wings from adjacent attachments overlap. The attachments and wings are temporarily joined with cement. The cemented bar is mounted on a support, the cement removed, and the bar fastened together permanently. The bar is then attached to the denture and the combination mounted on the implants.

摘要： A spirit level is provided which may be conveniently packaged and sold in knocked down form with the liquid vials and vial holders initially separated from the frame. The mounting openings in the web of the frame are rectangular or square with sides parallel and perpendicular to the working surfaces of the frame. The vial holders comprise a pair of opposed mating members of complementary configuration with the opening and having four pairs of mounting tabs for positioning the vial in accurate parallel or vertical orientation by cooperating with the corners of the rectangular opening. The holders also comprise posts which cooperate with the pairs of tabs to urge the tabs into gripping engagement with the corners of the mounting openings.

Upon determining the polygon that surrounds the current location, the software can perform a task related to the polygon. Examples of tasks include: determining traffic camera images to display on the mobile user device based on the location, speed, and heading of the user device. The images can include advertisements that pertain to the general vicinity, or demographics of those typically in the vicinity, of the cameras' coverage area. Another task includes associating performance data from a vehicle, and stored in a table, for a given location with a corresponding polygon that surrounds the location; processing the data; and assigning a risk value to the polygon based on the corresponding performance data.

摘要： A plastic insert is configured to provide support of thin wafers in wafer carriers configured to provide peripheral wafer support. The invention includes the insert, the insert in combination with a wafer carrier, and the methods of supporting the thin wafers as provided by the insert and the wafer carrier. The inserts, in preferred embodiments, utilize tabs that fit into the side wall recesses and have an interference fit in said recesses to secure the insert in place. In preferred embodiments the inserts have a top surface with a plurality of ribs positioned inwardly from the wafer periphery for supporting the wafers with minimal contact. In preferred embodiments the insert has a lower surface having strengthening structure providing rigidity to the insert. The top surface ribs may preferably be oriented parallel to the insertion and withdrawal direction of the wafers and extend upwardly to position the supported wafer in the slot immediately above the slot defined by the recesses in which the tabs are positioned. Thus, the inserts may be inserted into alternate slots in the carrier. The insert, in preferred embodiments may have an h-shape offering an optimal combination of support of each wafer and precise positioning of the wafer while minimizing the amount of plastic and correspondingly the weight of the insert.
