    Abstract: A method for indicating a random access resource, comprises: determining a first correspondence relationship between a downlink signal and a random access resource or a second correspondence relationship between a downlink channel and a random access resource; sending the first correspondence relationship and the downlink signal to a terminal if the first correspondence relationship is determined, wherein the first correspondence relationship and the downlink signal are used by the terminal to determine the random access resource; and sending the second correspondence relationship and the downlink channel to the terminal if the second correspondence relationship is determined, wherein the second correspondence relationship and the downlink channel are used by the terminal to determine the random access resource. Also disclosed in an embodiment of the present disclosure are a base station and a terminal.

    Abstract: Enabling the co-existence of contention based random access (CBRA) and contention free random access (CFRA) is an effective technique to improve network flexibility and usage of network resources. In some embodiments, all available communication opportunities in the CBRA schedule and all available communication opportunities in the CFRA schedule may be used to generate a final schedule Different subsets of preamble indices are employed to ensure that both CBRA and CFRA communications can co-exist. In other embodiments, all available communication opportunities in the CBRA schedule, but only the dedicated communication opportunities in the CFRA schedule, may be used to generate a final schedule. As a result, a smaller subset of preamble indices is used.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for transmitting and receiving a synchronization signal, and a transmission system. A method includes that, a base station determines one or more sets of system parameters, each set of the system parameters including at least one of the following information of a carrier: frequency information, or a frame structure parameter; the base station constructs a synchronization signal of a predetermined structure according to the system parameters; and the base station transmits the synchronization signal to the terminal; the one or more sets of system parameters corresponding to the same predetermined structure. With the embodiments of the disclosure, the problem of excessive complexity in detection of the synchronization signal in the related technology is solved.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an information transmission method and device based on a sweeping block. The method includes: configuring part of or all symbols of a data transmission subframe within a sweeping period as a sweeping block; and carrying a sweeping signal channel in the sweeping block for transmission. The sweeping signal channel refers to a signal or a signal and channel to be transmitted by polling all ports or beams. The above solution can improve flexibility and efficiency of data beam transmission and reduce a latency of traffic transmission.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a synchronization signal and a transmission system. In the method, a transmitting node determines a frequency band range in which a carrier is located, and configures or assumes synchronization channel information on the carrier according to the frequency band range, where the synchronization channel information includes at least one of: a subcarrier spacing or orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol information of a synchronization channel; and the transmitting node transmits the synchronization signal using the synchronization channel information.
