The harness assembly (24) includes a shoulder connecting member (28) having an upward extending, quick connect plug (34); a neck band (46) encircling the animal's neck and that is attached to the shoulder connecting member (28); a body band (50) encircling the animal behind its front legs and that attaches to the shoulder connecting member (28); and a chest member (54) connected to the neck and body. A stand-up leash (64), which is attached to the plug (34), normally remains in an upright position permitting a person walking the animal to comfortably grasp the leash (64) with a hand grip (88). A quick connect coupling (74) interfaces with the plug (34) for removing or replacing the stand-up leash (64) from the harness assembly (24). The leash (64) also has an extension (90) for lengthening which permits the animal increased freedom of movement.

摘要： A retractable leash assembly structured to facilitate quick connection of an animal to a lead which is interconnected at a proximal end to an activation assembly and to a quick connect coupling assembly at a distal end. The leash assembly includes a release structure disposed in a communicative relation with the coupling assembly structured to removably connect a collar, harness, or similar attachment assembly to the distal end of the lead. The activation assembly, upon actuation, transmits a signal to the release structure to dispose the components of the coupling assembly into a release orientation such that the components may be easily disconnected from one another. The activation assembly may also include a drive mechanism, a release control mechanism, and/or a lead aligning mechanism to improve a handler's control of an animal attached to the retractable leash assembly of the present invention.

The device comprises a cylindrically shaped member having an internal chamber and openings at each end. The threaded shaft formed on an eyebolt extends through one opening into the chamber, the end of the shaft being secured within the chamber by a locknut. A coiled spring surrounds the threaded shaft within the chamber, a portion of the threaded shaft operatively engaging a threaded hole formed in one portion of the shaped member. A second eyebolt is provided to couple the dog collar to the device.

摘要： The present invention is a cable with a lockable clamp on each end able to grip the cable so that loops can be formed of variable size, for the securing of pets or livestock against wandering off and unauthorized removal while maximizing the safety, reliability, and convenience to the user and the animal. Self contained and easy to operate, the cable is run through one of the lockable clamps forming a snug loop around the neck of the animal at one end, and again around an secure object at the other, the lock is then engaged, if so desired, and the animal is secure. When the proper code is put into one of the lockable clamps, the same for both lockable clamps, the release is able to be moved and the cable freed from the lockable clamps. The cable is cut resistant, and coated in semi-soft non-conducting material. The lockable clamps are hard frames, whose exterior facing surfaces are covered by semi-soft non-conducting material, and has the mechanism for clamping, locking, unlocking, and releasing contained securely within.

摘要： An attachment device has a frame with two longitudinal sides and a series of lateral guides disposed along the frame between the two sides. The guides define openings through which a strap extends. When the strap is inserted into the device, it is placed through the openings and over guides. The guides also hold the strap in place so that the device does not slide off the strap. In the relaxed state, the attachment device maintains a serpentine configuration with peaks and valleys. When tension is applied, the device is stretched out but returns to the original serpentine configuration when the tension is removed. The shape and material help absorb the force applied to the strap and reduce its effect on the strap, to thus reduce breakage of the strap and buckles and reduce injury to the user.

摘要： A locking system for pets. The system includes a locking leash assembly comprising a leash with a pet-securing region and a handle region. The handle region is adapted to be held by a user. The pet-securing region includes a lock assembly having a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. In the locked configuration the lock assembly is adapted to secure together spaced-apart portions of the pet-securing region, thus defining a closed perimeter. The closed perimeter is sized to extend around a portion of a pet and configured to prevent removal of the leash from the pet. The lock assembly in the unlocked configuration is adapted to permit the release of the spaced-apart portions of the pet-securing region. In some embodiments, the leash includes a coupling structure adapted to be removably interlocked to a pet collar.

摘要： An improved universal joint for use on a leash for dogs is provided with a hook element, a rotary connector, a retaining tube and a sleeve. The rotary connector has a ball-shaped joint head and an extended engaging rod. The universal joint is fixedly combined with a hook element that is engaged with the retaining tube by way of a pin shaft. The retaining tube has an open end and a semi-open and roundly cornered dome-shaped end having a through hole. The rotary connector is led through the through hole of its engaging rod with the ball-shaped joint head confined in the retaining tube. The engaging rod having a central deep cavity for receiving the front tip of the leash so that the leash and the rotary connector can be punched to fix together. The ball-shaped joint head and the roundly cornered retaining tube permit the rotary connector and the leash to operate smoothly at a wide range of angles so as to effectively avoid abrasion and deformation of the retaining tube and the rotary connector in operation.

The force required to reach the fully extended state is about 5 pounds or 2.3 kilograms. The elastic element significantly limits the impact of strong, short correctional tugs or jerks on the leash by the trainer.
