Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed related to restraint device (e.g., seatbelt) localization. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to systems and methods for seatbelt detection and modeling. A vehicle may be occupied by one or more occupants wearing one or more seatbelts. A camera or other sensor is placed within the vehicle to capture images of the one or more occupants. A system analyzes the images to detect and model seatbelts depicted in the images. Specifically, the system may scan the images and areas of the images that may correspond to seatbelts. The system may assemble candidate areas of the images that may correspond to seatbelts, and refine the candidate areas based on various constraints. The system may build models based on the refined candidate areas that indicate the seatbelts. The system may visualize the models indicating the seatbelts using the images.

Abstract: In various examples, a visualization of an environment may be generated using a Panini projection that is optimized based on detected scene content. For example, image data of an environment may be perspective projected (e.g., using a rectilinear projection) to generate a reference projection image, which may be analyzed to detect the presence of vanishing points and/or horizontal lines (e.g., in a central region). The image data of the environment may be projected using a Panini projection that is optimized based on distances to detected objects, the absence of a detected vanishing point, and/or the presence of a detected horizontal line to generate a Panini projection image. In some embodiments, vertical compression is applied to the Panini projection image to correct for distortion of horizontal lines (e.g., based on the presence of a detected horizontal line).

Abstract: In various examples, updates to a dynamic seam placement and/or fitted 3D bowl may be at least partially concealed using temporal masking. A future time in which a predicted change in dynamic seam placement and/or fitted 3D bowl exceeds some threshold may be determined. A predicted dynamic seam placement and/or fitted 3D bowl update may be temporally masked by triggering the update before arriving at the future time to compensate for the latency of the temporal filtering and/or by adjusting the temporal filter size (e.g., shortening a temporal window over which temporal filtering is applied) in anticipation of the predicted dynamic seam placement and/or fitted 3D bowl update, effectively maintaining some of the smoothing effects of temporal filtering, while reducing the latency.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for training personalized language models. The techniques include applying a plurality of first machine learning models to a first input prompt. Each of the plurality of first machine learning models generates a respective reward value of a first plurality of reward values. The techniques include applying a second machine learning model to the first plurality of reward values to obtain first reward value embeddings; applying a third machine learning model to the first reward value embeddings and the first input prompt to obtain a first output response; calculating a first loss based on a comparison between the first output response and the first input prompt; and causing the second machine learning model to be modified based on the first loss.

Abstract: Approaches presented herein provide for identification of sound from a sound source relative to an array of microphones of a potentially unknown configuration using, in part, differences in the audio signals received by the microphones. In at least one embodiment, audio signals are captured using an array of microphones and audio features are extracted from those signals. The audio features can be processed using a first neural network to generate a feature vector representing a spatial location of an audio source with respect to the plurality of microphones, where the spatial location is inferred based on audio differences and independent of an availability of information indicating a physical configuration of the plurality of microphones. The feature vector can be provided to a task-specific model to perform at least one audio-related task based in part on the spatial location.

Abstract: A content management system may maintain a scene description that represents a 3D virtual environment and a publish/subscribe model in which clients subscribe to content items that correspond to respective portions of the shared scene description. When changes are made to content, the changes may be served to subscribing clients. Rather than transferring entire descriptions of assets to propagate changes, differences between versions of content may be exchanged, which may be used construct updated versions of the content. Portions of scene description may reference other content items and clients may determine whether to request and load these content items for lazy loading. Content items may be identified by Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) used to reference the content items. The content management system may maintain states for client connections including for authentication, for the set of subscriptions in the publish/subscribe model, and for their corresponding version identifiers.
