Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first device to determine sidelink feedback resource associated with sidelink communication. In one embodiment, the method includes the first device receiving an identifier from an upper layer of the first device. The method also includes the first device receiving a sidelink transmission from a second device. The method further includes the first device determining a sidelink feedback resource associated with the sidelink transmission at least based on the identifier and a source ID (Identity) associated with the sidelink transmission. In addition, the method includes the first device using the sidelink feedback resource to transmit a feedback in response to the sidelink transmission to the second device.

In one method, the method includes the first device performing or establishing sidelink unicast communication with a second device. The method also includes the first device detecting a radio link failure associated with the second device. The method further includes the first device performing a Sidelink MAC reset associated with the second device in response to the radio link failure, and not performing a Sidelink MAC reset associated with the third device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example, a first device receives first information and second information from a base station. The first device is configured with a configured grant for sidelink communication via the first information. The configured grant is indicative of first resources for sidelink communication. The second information is indicative of one or more timing offsets and an identity for second resources. The first device transmits sidelink data to a second device via a first resource of the first resources. The first device receives and/or detects a first signal, from the second device, indicative of a reception result associated with the sidelink data. The first device determines a second time and a frequency location based on the second information. The first device transmits a second signal to the base station via a second resource associated with the second time and the frequency location.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE). In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a Random Access Channel (RACH) configuration from a network node, wherein the RACH configuration indicates at least one Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) resource for beam failure recovery. The method further includes receiving a timing advance command from the network node, and starting or restarting a time alignment timer when receiving the timing advance command. The method also includes releasing the at least one PRACH resource for the beam failure recovery indicated by the RACH configuration when the timing alignment timer expires.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for handling transmission during a random access procedure are disclosed herein. In one method, the UE initiates a random access (RA) procedure. The UE receives a RA response during the RA procedure, wherein the RA response indicates a first uplink (UL) grant for the UE to perform a Msg3 transmission by a specific hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process. The UE receives a second UL grant for the UE to perform a specific transmission, wherein the specific transmission is to be performed during the RA procedure. The UE determines whether to perform the specific transmission based on at least whether the specific transmission is to be performed by the specific HARQ process used for the Msg3 transmission, wherein the Msg3 transmission and the specific transmission are not overlapped in a time domain.
