Abstract:
A method of handling long term evaluation positioning protocol (LPP) data for a communication device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises setting that a first message of a non-access stratum (NAS) layer has higher transmission priority than a second message of a long term evaluation positioning protocol (LPP) layer.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting data in a wireless communication system including a User Equipment (UE) and a radio access network (RAN) includes the following steps. Firstly, the RAN transmits a MAC protocol data unit (PDU) to the UE. Afterwards, the UE returns an acknowledgement signal in response to the MAC PDU. When the RAN receives the acknowledgement signal, it allocates an uplink resource for the UE to transmit data.
Abstract:
A method of managing multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) transmission for a network in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of reserving a plurality of MBMS subframes of a first radio frame for a MBMS service; configuring a first subframe set of the reserved MBMS subframes of the first radio frame for transmissions of MBMS data; and configuring a second subframe set of the reserved MBMS subframes of the first radio frame for transmissions of non-MBMS data.
Abstract:
A method of handling handover message decoding for a mobile device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes via a first radio access technology (RAT), receiving a handover message associated with a handover from the first RAT to a second RAT supporting services of a packet switched (PS) domain and a circuit switched (CS) domain, wherein the handover message comprises type information and an inter-RAT message generated based on the second RAT, and determining a switched domain type of the inter-RAT message according to the type information.
Abstract:
A relay of a wireless communication system for handling data forwarding between at least a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) is disclosed. The relay includes a UE interfacing unit and a BS interfacing AS unit. The UE interfacing unit is used for communicating with the base station and includes an AS (Access Stratum) unit for performing AS functionalities with the base station based on a first AS protocol. The relay is recognized as a UE by the base station via the first AS protocol. The BS interfacing AS unit wirelessly performs BS AS functionalities with the UEs based on a second AS protocol and exchanging data with the UE interfacing unit.
Abstract:
A method of controlling channel access for a mobile device in a wireless communication system includes receiving a dynamic persistence level from a base station, determining a persistence value according to the dynamic persistence level and at least a one persistence coefficient stored in the mobile device, comparing the persistence value with a random number of the mobile device, and determining whether access to a channel is permitted to be accessed for sending a message from the mobile device to the base station according to a comparison result of the persistence value and with the random number.
Abstract:
A method of establishing multiple links with multiple component carriers for a mobile device of a wireless communication system, the method includes establishing a first link corresponding to a first component carrier by a first radio resource control procedure, and establishing at least a link corresponding to at least a component carrier by a second RRC procedure according to a first RRC message received in the first link.
Abstract:
A method of handling radio link failure for a communication device of a wireless communication system includes detecting radio link failure on a plurality of targets of interest, and sending a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message indicating at least a radio link failure in at least one of the plurality of targets of interest to the network according to the detection result.
Abstract:
A method of reporting RAT capability for a mobile device of a wireless communication system includes including capability information only associated with a first RAT in a capability reporting message of the first RAT, and transmitting the capability reporting message to a network of a second RAT via the second RAT.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting radio access capability for a mobile device in a first wireless communication system includes including capability information of the mobile device, corresponding to a second wireless communication system, in a radio resource message, and sending the radio resource message to a network of the second wireless communication system.
