Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a target UE receives zone information associated with a set of zones, the zone information indicating, for each of a plurality of candidate UEs for a sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure of the target UE, a zone identifier of a zone in which the respective candidate UE is located. The target UE selects one or more candidate UEs for the sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure based at least in part upon the zone information. The target UE performs the sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure with at least the selected one or more candidate UEs.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource configuration, the SRS resource configuration indicating at least a comb pattern for at least one SRS resource allocated to the UE and a puncturing unit for the comb pattern, wherein the comb pattern is divided into one or more puncturing units, wherein each puncturing unit comprises one or more time units of the comb pattern, and wherein each of the one or more time units comprises two or more symbols, and refrains from transmitting all SRS transmissions of the at least one SRS resource within a first puncturing unit of the one or more puncturing units based on a determination that one or more SRS transmissions of the at least one SRS resource within the first puncturing unit are to be dropped.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a first sensing signal of a radio frequency (RF) sensing procedure at a first transmit power. The UE may receive, from a base station at least in part in response to the first sensing signal, a power control message for sensing signals of the RF sensing procedure. The power control message may indicate a power control strategy for transmitting sensing signals of the RF sensing procedure. The UE may then transmit, at a second transmit power based on the received power control message, a second sensing signal of the RF sensing procedure.
