摘要: A pig loader device can include a breech assembly having a chamber body, a ramrod compartment, a breech, and a neck. A ramrod having a push plate, a rod, and a breech plate may be disposed within the ramrod compartment and configured to slideably traverse the ramrod compartment and the breech. In use, the device can be connected to an ancillary pipe via the neck, and a pig may be placed within the breech and aligned be to be slid within the breech and neck upon engagement with the ramrod to facilitate pigging operations of a pipeline. The ramrod may then be forced forward to an extended position, thereby urging the pig through the neck to be seated within the pipe. The device may then be detached from the pipe to enable continued pigging operations.

摘要: A bee feeder system includes a bee house having multiple stacked levels. One of the levels includes a bee feeder having a frame with a central opening and a feeder pipe extending across the central opening. The feeder pipe has a distal section including spaced feeder holes and a proximal section that extends outside the frame. A bee food container is attached to the proximal section of the feeder pipe. The feeder pipe is rotatable relative to the frame for moving between an on position in which the feed container is above the distal section of the feeder pipe and the feeder holes face toward a bottom major face of the frame and an off position in which the feed container is below the distal section of the feeder pipe and the feeder holes face toward a top major face of the frame.

摘要: A backlight assembly is provided for deployment within a flat panel display assembly, as are methods for manufacturing such a backlight assembly. In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of fabricating a printed wiring board (PWB) having a display-facing surface, disposing a casing sidewall around the PWB to create light cavity within the backlight assembly, and electrically coupling a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) to the PWB. A reflective solder mask is deposited over the display-facing surface of the PWB, and a first reflective silkscreen layer is applied over the reflective solder mask utilizing a silkscreen process. The first reflective silkscreen layer cooperates with the reflective solder mask to increase the reflectivity of the light cavity over the visible color spectrum.

摘要: Methods and systems for context-based check-out flows using a pass-through payment gateway (PTPG) are described. One method in a user computing device includes transmitting a probability request for a user to a network application seeking an indication of whether the user would likely utilize payment information stored by the network application while placing an order using a commerce application. Upon receiving a response, the commerce application presents a UI element indicating that the user may utilize the stored payment information to complete the order. Another method in a PTPG includes receiving a request from a commerce application to charge a user for an order. In response, the gateway transmits a charge request to an identified payment gateway system for the commerce application on behalf of the commerce application such that a monetary amount is credited to an account of the commerce application directly by the payment gateway system.

摘要: A method for rendering an image including objects defined by surfaces. A rendering application selects an object in a first image and determines a surface of the object. An initial set of illumination values is calculated and is separated into low and high spatial frequency components associated with the surface of the object. The rendering application independently adjusts the illumination values of the low and high spatial frequency components based lighting information in the first image, and generates a modified set of illumination values by combining the adjusted low and high spatial frequency components. The surface of the object is then rendered using the modified set of illumination values. Advantageously, embodiments of the invention provide techniques for rendering an object without introducing halo effects around the object. Additionally, embodiments of the invention provide for rendering a sequence of frames without introducing fluctuations in the low frequency components from across frame.
