    摘要: A multiplex transmission apparatus in accordance with the present invention is interconnected with other multiplex transmission apparatuses via common transmission lines, and it is used for a multiplex transmission system which performs data transmission. The multiplex transmission apparatus comprises voltage converting circuits which detect voltages of the transmission lines, the first comparator which compares the detected voltages, the second comparator which compares one voltage of the detected voltages with a reference voltage, and the third comparator which compares the other detected voltage with a reference voltage. The comparators supply the comparison results to differential circuits, respectively, set the output of the differential circuit linked to a comparator, which is connected to a faulty line, for "L", and determine the logical sum of the outputs of the differential circuits by a logical synthesizing circuit. By applying the determined logical sum to a multiplex transmission control circuit, the apparatus makes it possible to reduce wasteful message transmission and successfully cope with faults in the transmission lines without causing delay in transmission of messages which require quick responses and without increasing the traffic volume of the transmission lines. The multiplex transmission control circuit detects signals on the transmission lines according to the comparison results of the comparators.

    摘要: An illumination control apparatus is constituted by a main operation panel for performing dimming control of a plurality of different lighting units, a plurality of dimming terminals for receiving dimming data from the main operation panel, and a pair of transmission lines for connecting the plurality of dimming terminals to the main operation panel. In the dimming terminals, the types of different lighting unit are selected in accordance with the dimming data from the main operation panel. Upon selection of the types, the dimming characteristics of the lighting units are converted into desired dimming characteristics, respectively. Dimming signals corresponding to the lighting units are formed on the basis of the dimming characteristics obtained by the conversion. The formed dimming signals are output to the lighting units. With this operation, dimming outputs from the plurality of different lighting units are controlled in accordance with the dimming data from the main operation panel.

    摘要: A slip-on type pipe joint wherein a ringlike seal packing is mounted in an annular recess formed in the inner peripheral surface of the socket end of one pipe and the spigot of another pipe is inserted, whereby the pipes are connected together. The pipe joint is characterized in that the inner peripheral surface of the socket is formed with an engagement projection projecting toward the axis of the pipe and disposed adjacent the inner side of the packing, a split lock ring axially engageable with the engagement projection is fitted in an annular groove formed in the outer peripheral surface of the spigot, and the opposed free ends of the split lock ring are joined together by a coupling piece placed on the lateral surface of the split lock ring disposed adjacent the front end side of the spigot to prevent the split lock ring from slipping off the annular groove.
