Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for allowing remote participation in collaborative video review based on joint state data, for a video collaboration session, maintained by a video collaboration service. A user at a participant client device may provide one or more annotations, such as a drawing annotation, for the video data via a client application. The client application transmits computer-readable instructions for re-creating the drawing annotation to the service, which distributes the drawing instructions to the other participant client devices. Using the drawing instructions, the client applications at the client devices are configured to re-create the drawing annotation on the associated video frame displayed at the client devices. The joint state data communicated to client devices for a given session may include co-presence data that efficiently increases communication among the participants in a session. Co-presence data received by a participant client device may be depicted in a GUI of the client application.

Abstract: This disclosure describes embodiments of systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable storage media that utilize a machine-learning model to detect mass file deletions, mass file downloads, ransomware encryptions, or other anomalous digital events within a digital-content-synchronization platform. For example, the disclosed systems can monitor digital actions executed across a digital-content-synchronization platform in real (or near-real) time and use a machine-learning model to analyze features of such digital actions to distinguish and detect anomalous actions. Upon detection, the disclosed systems can alert a client device of the anomalous actions with an explanatory rationale and, in some cases, perform (or provide options to perform) a remedial action to neutralize or contain the anomalous actions. Furthermore, the disclosed systems can also modify the machine-learning model based on interactions received from an administrator device in response to the anomalous actions.

Abstract: The present technology can provide a mechanism for providing a team member transfer interface to an administrator user for transferring team member user accounts from one team to another and also a mechanism for transferring the team member user accounts, such as by switching an assignment of one or more user accounts from a first team to another in a single atomic action. The transferring of the team member user accounts may also depend on passing a set of validation checks that check for inconsistencies that could cause an error in the transfer, and also updating access and privileges associated with being members of certain teams.

Abstract: A first client device associated with a first account of a content management system can receive a first or latest version of a synchronized content item. The first client device can determine differences or the “diff” between the first version and a second or next-to-latest version of the content item and upload the first version and the diff to the content management system. Upon receiving the first version and the diff, the content management system can store the first version and the diff and download them to the second client device. The second client device can generate a notification when the download finishes and present the notification with an interface element for requesting presentation of the diff. When the second client device detects a selection of the interface element, the second client device can present the diff.

Abstract: A database structure and a system that uses the structure to facilitate efficient context enrichment of low-level events occurring in a distributed computing system. In one aspect, the database structure comprises a table accessible to a distributed storage system. The table comprises a plurality of rows. Each row represents a corresponding process creation event of a particular process at a particular host at a particular time and assigned a particular event identifier. Each row comprises a row key identifying the particular host, the particular process, the particular time, and the particular event identifier of the process creation event corresponding to the row. The particular time and the particular event identifier are stored as part of the row key in a bitwise one's complement format. The row key structure facilitates efficient identification of a process creation event where only hostname and the process identifier of the process creation event are known.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods that provide users with efficient and effective user experiences when browsing, selecting, or inspecting content items. More specifically, systems and methods described herein provide users the ability to easily and effectively select multiple content items via a single touch gesture (e.g., swipe gesture). Additionally, systems and methods disclosed herein can allow users to select various content items in a selection interface, preview a content item, and return to the selection interface with the previous selections remaining intact. Still further, systems and methods described herein allow users to transition between a content graphical user interface and a selection interface based on touch gestures with content items. Embodiments of the present invention further provide improved navigability by collapsing views of content items.

Abstract: Some methods enable a first device to assist a second device in becoming authenticated with a content management system. The content management system can receive user credentials or an elevated access token from the first device. The content management system can respond to the first device with an access token for use by the second device. Alternatively, the content management system can send the access token directly to the second device. The second device can then use the access token for authenticated communications with the content management system.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods of querying a hybrid event index of a user. The systems and methods can include receiving a search request pertaining to at least a first namespace of a plurality of namespaces and determining a first index server storing a first portion of the hybrid event index associated with the first namespace. The systems and methods can further include searching, the first portion of the hybrid event index stored at the first index server, determining one or more attributes from the search request, and determining a payload based on the search results of the first portion of the hybrid event index. Finally, the systems and methods can include applying one or more attributes to the payload and sending the filtered payload.

Abstract: Content items queued for synchronization between a client device and a content management system can be automatically prioritized to improve the sharing process. That is, the content items can be prioritized based on whether a share link has been created to the content item. A share link can enable a user to access the shared content item from a content management system. Content items that have been shared using a share link can be given higher priority to be synchronized prior to content items that have not been shared. The queued content items can be synchronized in the synchronization order resulting from the prioritization. Further, multiple shared content items queued for synchronization can be sub-prioritized based on one or more sub-prioritization criteria.
