Abstract:
A preheating control system of an information processing device and a control method thereof are described. The system includes a temperature sensing module, a first controller, a heating module, and a second controller. After receiving a power ON signal, the first controller shifts to a primary control mode and determines whether temperature of the hard disk satisfies an operating temperature scope or not. When the temperature does not satisfy the operating temperature scope, the heating module is used to heat the hard disk. When the temperature satisfies the operating temperature scope, the first controller shifts to a secondary control mode and activates the second controller to execute a boot program of the information processing device, thereby improving system stability.

An auxiliary input method for an electronic device displays a virtual keyboard input interface optionally on a screen of the electronic device according to an external ambient brightness state of the electronic device, so as to assist the users to input data. The method includes sensing current ambient brightness to obtain an ambient brightness value; comparing the ambient brightness value with a preset brightness value; if the ambient brightness value is lower than the preset brightness value, calculating a duration in which the ambient brightness value is lower than the preset brightness value; comparing the duration with the preset time; if the duration reaches the preset time, displaying the virtual keyboard input interface on the screen of the electronic device, thereby improving the operation convenience of the electronic device.
Abstract:
A method for fast activation and playing of multimedia data with a non-fixed data storage media, such as compact disk, is provided. The storage media, pre-installed with an operating system, is used to activate the computer. Then the media player connected to the computer is detected, and a device driver for the detected media player and a corresponding media playing application in the storage media are executed. The process further includes establishing a RAM disk area in the RAM of the computer for the space required by executing the operating system, device driver for the media player, and the media playing application programs.

A heat pipe includes a heat receiving section, a heat transfer section, and a heat dissipation section. A groove structure is formed inside the heat pipe and extends from the heat receiving section to the heat dissipation section. The groove structure includes at least an axially-extending parallel portion and a non-axially-extending parallel portion. The axially-extending parallel portion includes a plurality of internal groove segments extending parallel in an axial direction of the heat pipe and the non-axially-extending parallel portion includes a plurality of groove segments extending from the axially-extending parallel groove segments in a parallel manner in a direction different from the axial direction.

A modulating operation interface and a method are applied for a display apparatus. The modulating operation interface comprises a display unit, a selection unit, a clock unit and a processor. A circle broadcast action of a plurality of operation diagrams is displayed by the display unit. One operation diagram from the plurality of operation diagrams broadcasted by the display unit is then selected by the selection unit. An internal menu of lower level is expanded from the selected operation diagram. The circle broadcast action executed by the display unit is controlled by the processor based on a predetermined time and a time data provided by the clock unit. Accordingly, the modulation can be finished completely and speedily while modulating the modulating operation interface.
Abstract:
A method for controlling analog TV signal output in a computer system. First, the analog TV signal output port is disabled when the computer system boots. A signal output control interface is provided to the DVD play device to control the analog TV signal output port. When the DVD play application is turned on, the analog TV signal output port is opened by the DVD play device through the signal output control interface. A signal protection procedure is driven simultaneously when the DVD play device starts. Before the DVD play device finishes, the analog TV signal output port is disabled by the signal output control interface and the DVD session is concluded.

Disclosed is a device and method for dynamically adjusting orientation of a satellite antenna carried in a movable carrier, including a satellite tracking system and an adjusting device. The satellite tracking system includes a position processor that receives a group of positioning signals comprising a current coordinate from a group of GPS satellites and retrieve a program signal comprised a preset coordinate among at least one of program satellites, a comparator comparing the current coordinate with a preset coordinate to generate an deviation, and a microprocessor processing the deviation to issue a control signal that is fed to the adjusting device for changing orientation of the antenna to match with that of the program satellite.

A compound vibration damper assembly includes a vertical damping unit fixedly connected at a lower end to a locating surface for absorbing a Z-direction vibration force transmitted to a target apparatus, and a horizontal damping unit connected at a lower end to an upper end of the vertical damping unit and at an upper end to a bottom of the target apparatus for absorbing X- or Y-direction vibration force transmitted to the target apparatus. A method for reading battery status of a portable computer that is powered by a battery and has an operation system which reads the status of the battery by a keyboard controller in accordance with a preset time reference. The operation system reads the current system time first which is then compared with the time value when the operation system previously reads the battery status. A time difference between the current system time and the previous time of reading is obtained which is compared with the time reference. If the time difference is greater than or equal to the time reference, the operation system actually reads the battery status and stores the status in a system memory. If the time difference is smaller than the time reference, the operation system simply retrieves the battery status stored in the system memory and feeds the status to the operation system.
