摘要： A bird cage having a wire grille upper portion and a base assembly. A portion of the base assembly may be made of a light impervious material such as a transparent or translucent material. A plurality of connectors may be used to secure the wire grille panels together. In one embodiment, the footprint of the base assembly is larger than the footprint of the wire grille upper portion of the cage. One or more feeding stations may be provided inside of the cage with a door located on the cage to access the feeding stations. The feeding stations may be arranged in a locked position such that a bird inside the cage cannot tip over or spill the contents of a feeding station.

摘要： A portable self erecting pet enclosure which provides protection to domesticated animals when the animals are introduced into hostile or new environments. The pet enclosure design has a support system and a nylon webbing cover. The support system is constructed of two concentric flat spring wire loops each having substantially the same diameter. The support system has a foundational bottom loop and a supporting frame loop. The foundational bottom loop defines the outer perimeter of the floor and the supporting frame loop is arranged in a saddleback configuration to support the roof. The supports are contained within support sleeves which are sewn onto the nylon webbing. The pet enclosure apparatus has a small insertion port and a large extraction port. The small insertion port is for easily inserting the animal into the enclosure. The large extraction port is designed so that the pet owner can easily remove the animal. The nylon webbing has a weave spacing which is narrow enough to prevent the animal's paws or jaws from extending out of the pet enclosure, but provides enough space for the cat to pull on the webbing which acts as a modified scratching post. The webbing is strong enough to resist tearing and or ripping of the fibers. The portable self-erecting pet enclosures can be arranged in groups and connected to one another or to a pet door of an existing house through the use of a conduit constructed of the same material.

摘要： A cage, such as a bird or other animal cage, employs a folding side assembly that, using a specially designed hinging system, allows the cage to fold to a collapsed condition for storage or shipping, and then to be unfolded and secured to an open position without the need for screws, bolts or other types of fasteners, or the use of hand or other tools. In the preferred embodiment, the folding side assembly is formed of six permanently assembled sections, each of which is attached to adjacent sections by means of a plurality of pivoting hinges. These six sections form four sides of the cage, which preferably is rectangular or square. Two of the sections form two fixed side of the cage, while the remaining four sections form, in two hinged pairs, two folding sides of the cage. The pairs are hinged to one another so that the folding sides can fold inwardly toward one another in an accordion fashion so that the fixed sides of the cage collapse toward one another. Once the side assembly is opened for use, removable top and bottom sections or assemblies are secured by gravity to the folding side assembly that maintain the same in an open. unfolded position.

摘要： The present invention concerns animal kennels or crates that provide a means for housing, containing and training animals, and in particular, domesticated house pets such as dogs and cats. The crate is collapsible so that it can be disassembled and transported in a convenient fashion. The crate is comprised of side panels, end panels and a top panel that define the boundaries of the crate. These panels are secured together through the use of edge pieces that are strong enough to maintain the integrity of the crate when placed under the stresses associated with an animal trying to escape, while also being flexible enough to provide for an easy means of assembling and disassembling the crate. Corner caps are placed on the corners of the crate and a removable base can be clipped to the crate. The edge pieces and corner cap also provides the crate with an aesthetically appealing appearance that reduces the perception of crates being cruel to the animal.
