摘要： A soap dispenser is used in association with a pump operated bottle of liquid soap. The soap dispenser includes a back plate, a cover, a pump mechanism and an outer shell. The cover is releasably attached to the back plate. The cover and the back plate define a volute therebetween. The pump operated bottle is positioned in the volute and the pump mechanism is operably connected to the bottle. There is a means to operate the pump mechanism to dispense soap. The outer shell extends over a portion of the cover and is releasably attached thereto. The outer shell can be interchanged with a plurality of similar outer shells. There is a seal between the outer shell and the cover. The outer shell may have a window formed therein and a printed sheet or advertising sheet may be positioned behind the window. Alternatively, the outer shell may have a logo or other design thereon.

摘要： An apparatus and method for controlling plumbing fixtures includes an electronic control board having a microprocessor that accepts four inputs and produces four outputs. Inputs at other than the microprocessor's operating voltage are converted thereto. Outputs having different voltages are controlled by latching relays. The control board can be used with a sink that requires a sequenced hand washing. The control board can form a node on a network that monitors and controls the functions of multiple boards throughout a facility.

摘要： A dispensing system for flowable liquids that includes a dispensing base for holding a refill package of a flowable liquid. A door is pivotally mounted to the dispensing base by a first pivot so that the door can have an open position and a closed position. The system has a push handle pivotally mounted to the door by a second pivot and a latch integral with the dispensing base to pivotally secure the push handle at the second pivot when the door is closed so that the door is held secure in the closed position and the push handle may be used for dispensing. The dispensing system also includes a release for disengaging the push handle from the latch so that the door may be moved to its open position.

A sleeve-shaped part having an opening therethrough is secured to the wall, the wall closing one end of the sleeve-shaped part. A piercing element with a point is disposed within the sleeve with its point directed toward the wall. A dispensing device is receivable in the end of the sleeve-shaped part opposite the wall to engage the piercing element and to move the piercing element relative to the sleeve to pierce the wall to permit flow of the contents of the bag unit through the sleeve-shaped part and to and through the dispensing device. The piercing element is fixed to the sleeve-shaped part by a rupturable connection that breaks when the dispensing device presses against the piercing element.

摘要： A soap solution dispenser for use in public and private lavatories, washrooms and so forth, has a refill cartridge for aqueous soap solution. This exchangeable refill or supply cartridge has a flexible connecting member mounted upon a hollow plug element of a solution level indicator. During use of the dispenser, first the cartridge is emptied, then the solution level indicator, and only then a reservoir within the dispenser. Thus, the contents of the cartridge can be used up completely, while the dispenser still remains operative because of the reservoir volume, until such time as the cartridge can be conveniently replaced. For higher contrast indication of the solution level, the indicator can contain an optical body or element which is immersed in the soap solution. The optical element only becomes totally internal reflecting when the refill cartridge is empty. Prisms can be provided so as to optimize the use of existing sources of light, and optical filters can be employed for an indication in color.

摘要： A container for liquid comprises a substantially airtight body for storing liquid, a means for varying the pressure of gas above the level of liquid in the body of the container, e.g. resilient flexible container walls such as a squeeze bottle, an air pocket structure disposed at the lower end of the container, and in free liquid communication with the body of the container so as to allow entry of liquid from the body of the container into the air pocket structure. Air resides in the air pocket structure when the container is disposed with its lower end downwardly. An outlet passageway has an upper end which communicates near the top of the air pocket structure to be disposed in air in the air pocket and a lower end open to atmosphere exteriorly of the container and the air pocket. Such a container holds liquid therein without dripping. To discharge the liquid, the pressure on the body is increased, so as to cause liquid to rise through the air pocket structure, and issue liquid from the outlet passageway. Upon release of the applied pressure, air is sucked back in through the passageways so as to have a cleaning effect thereon. The structure allows storage of liquid ready for dispensing, but without risk of leakage or dripping, even when exposed to fluctuations in temperature of considerable magnitude.
