摘要:
The invention provides methods and compositions for treating wash water from concrete production with carbon dioxide. The treated wash water can be reused as mix water in fresh batches of concrete.
摘要:
Compositions and methods are provided for a system in which liquid carbon dioxide, or a mixture of liquid and gaseous carbon dioxide, is converted to solid carbon dioxide by exiting an orifice at a sufficient pressure drop, e.g., for delivery of carbon dioxide to a concrete mixture in a mixer.

The present invention provides a fast response method and system wherein one or more comb-type polycarboxylate ether (PCE) polymers, having a cumulative adsorptivity coefficient in the range of 40%-75%, are employed as fluidizing admixtures dosed into concrete by and in automated slump monitoring and control systems which iteratively monitors and adjusts the slump of the concrete mix.

摘要:
A system for calculating and reporting slump in a delivery vehicle having a mixing drum 14 and hydraulic drive 16 for rotating the mixing drum, including a rotational sensor 20 configured to sense a rotational speed of the mixing drum, a hydraulic sensor 22 coupled to the hydraulic drive and configured to sense a hydraulic pressure required to turn the mixing drum, and a communications port 26 configured to communicate a slump calculation to a status system 28 commonly used in the concrete industry, wherein the sensing of the rotational speed of the mixing drum is used to qualify a calculation of current slump based on the hydraulic pressure required to turn the mixing drum.
摘要:
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for adding a liquid in a mixing process. The apparatus in the described embodiments includes a liquid inlet, a continuous flow heater, a holding tank, a support structure, and a metering device. The continuous flow heater is coupled to the liquid inlet. The holding tank is adapted to be coupled to the continuous flow heater and to receive heated liquid from the continuous flow heater. The support structure is configured to support the holding tank at a height greater than approximately four feet above a ground level. The metering device is coupled to the holding tank and has an indicator for identifying an amount of liquid dispensed from the holding tank.
