Abstract:
The invention provides a stackable storage container (10) having a pair of side walls (12, 14), top wall (16), bottom wall (18) and rear wall 20. A pair of upper and lower front walls (22, 24) are hinged to the top wall (16) and bottom wall (18) respectively of container (10) with upper front wall (22) at least partially overlapping the lower front wall (24) along its length.
Abstract:
A package comprises first and second packs (P1, P2) each capable of containing items. Each pack has a base, and a first face (F1, F1′) bound by a first edge (E1, E1′) and a second edge (E2, E2′) which co-operate with the base to contain items in the packs. Means (JL) connect the first and second packs (P1, P2), the means comprising at least first and second straps (S1, S2). In a first position of the packs the first faces (F1, F1′) of each pack face each other with the first edges (E1, E1′) of the first and second packs adjacent each other and the second edges (E1, E2′) of the first and second packs adjacent each other. The first and second straps (S1, S2) extend across the first faces (F1, F1′) of the packs, the first strap (S1) is hinged relative to the first pack at the first edge (E1) of the first pack and hinged relative to the second pack at the second edge (E2′) of the second pack, and the second strap (S2) is hinged relative to the second pack (P2) at the first edge (E1′) of the second pack and hinged relative to the first pack at the second edge of the first pack. When connected together by the straps (S1, S2), the first and second packs (P1, P2) are moveable, one relative to the other between at least the first position, a second position in which the second pack (P2) is rotated relative to the first pack (P1) about the first edge (E1) and a third position in which the second pack (P2) is rotated relative to the first pack (P1) about the second edge (E2′).
Abstract:
A carrier is formed of foldable sheet material, the carrier being usable with a container. The container has a top, a bottom and sides, the top having a handle, and at least one of the sides having a mouth for emptying contents from the container. The carrier includes a bottom, side panels adjoined and connected to the bottom, and a handle panel formed with at least one of the side panels. The handle panel includes a first aperture for fitting over the handle on the top of the container such that at least a portion of one of the side panels of the carrier rests against a side of the container.
Abstract:
This design is to create dividers or compartments in twelve or sixteen-ounce drink cans. Many Cans in One. Can will create two or more dividers within the can to create two or more compartments. They can be made separately and soldered or attached together to form a normal can shape. This will help consumers to buy a twelve or sixteen ounce can and drink a portion of the drink and next time another portion will also be fresh. When it comes to Mini Cans in One Can, the cans are made in small sizes. For example, if one used three-ounce cans, four of them will be screwed, snapped or clipped together to form a twelve or sixteen ounce normal can. The screw type Mini Cans would have a bottom male thread and a top female thread, and they would screw together to form a twelve-ounce can, or four four-ounce cans would form a sixteen-ounce can. The engineering principles behind the Many and Mini Can in One Can are the same.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multifunctional container (1) comprising two container sections (3, 4), each having a base (5) and at least two side walls (8, 9) to define an enclosed space (7) open at the top, one of said side walls (9) on each container section (3, 4) having magnetic means located on said side wall (9) of each of the container sections to permit the container sections to be easily joined and separated.
Abstract:
A fluid container having a generally tetrahedral shape configured for interleaved packaging, and having a conduit with a seal at one end. The container is formed from either a rigid material, such as a blow-molded polymer, or a semi-rigid material, including pliant sheet material in one or more plies. It may include a recess in its base to improve container rigidity and stability. The seal at one end of the conduit can be either a fitment, or a frangible closure, and may include a tab to facilitate opening. Also, a multi-pack of items and a method for assembling a multi-pack of items for the efficient use of shelf space. A first plurality of generally tetrahedral items is arranged in a hexagonal footprint, and is interleaved with a second plurality of similarly arranged tetrahedral items. A small void space within the resulting multi-pack may be optionally used to carry another object.
Abstract:
Folding crates includes a base and pivotable side walls which fold open from a stacked storage condition in which the walls are in juxtaposition and within the perimeter of the base. Latches are provided to connect the open walls and provide support between the walls. A pedestal and legs on the base are arranged so that the pedestal of one crate may be received and secured by the legs of a similar crate with side walls folded to the stacked storage condition. Crate connection assemblies are included for joining multiple crates into a crate array when the crates are open. The connection assemblies use receiver sockets that receive connection links therein. The links are preferably tubular to allow a tension fastener to extend therethrough and be secured by a septum wall against which the tubular links a but. The connection links provide compression transfer and resistance to shearing action between conjoined crates.
Abstract:
A preferred folding crate includes a base having a perimeter. Pivotable side walls fold open from a stacked storage condition in which the walls are in juxtaposition and within the perimeter of the base. A pedestal and legs on the base are arranged so that the pedestal of one crate may be received and secured by the legs of a similar crate having its side walls folded to the stacked storage condition. A preferred crate includes latch members between inner and outer side wall surfaces on a first pair of the side walls. Catch members on a second pair of the side walls are positioned for releasable latch member engagement to secure the side walls in the open condition. Connector receivers, link members and fasteners may be provided to secure successive similar crates together.
Abstract:
A connecting element provides a releasable connection between two objects, with a basic body element (2), for which an essentially L-shaped hook (4) is provided, with a hook bow (5) and a hook body (6) running essentially parallel to the basic body element (2). In this situation, the L-shaped hook (4) features in the area of the hook bow (5) a lateral cutout (7). To advantage, a longitudinal aperture (9) is provided in the bow (5) of the L-shaped hook (4) and in the basic body element (2), in which a locking bar can be inserted, which is jointed to a horizontal axis (11, 11′) of the L-shaped hook (4). In this situation, the locking bar can be pivoted in against the force of a spring provided on the axis (11, 11′), into the area (8) between the hook body element (6) and the basic body element (2). In particular, the hook body element (6) can be provided with an aperture (18) in the section (20) located beneath the cutout (7), the shape and size of the said aperture being designed especially to accommodate the locking bar of a second connecting element.
