摘要： An improved die engaging means for a side loading die change truck includes a plurality of pusher-puller blocks pivoted along the length of the powered pusher bars and selectively engageable with the edge of a die to allow it to be easily moved in stages onto or off of a press bed. Each block may be rotated down to a stored position beneath the surface of the bar and beneath the surface of the die. An adaptor may be attached to each block to allow it to be used to pull a die, if desired.

摘要： A push-pull slipsheet handler mountable on a standard hook-type lift truck carriage compatibly with load-handling forks mounted on the carriage. The slipsheet handler comprises a push-pull assembly and split platen, both of which receive their vertical support from the load-supporting surfaces of the forks. Attachment of the push-pull assembly to the lower hook-type bar of the carriage provides resistance against fore-and-aft movement of the slipsheet handler. To convert the truck rapidly to a fork-type truck capable of handling standard rigid pallets rather than slipsheets, the platen may be quickly removed leaving the push-pull assembly in place or, alternatively, the push-pull assembly and platen may be removed as an integral unit.

摘要： A system and apparatus for the handling of cartons such as those in which lettuce heads are packed. The cartons are carried from the field on pallets, through a cooling chamber and mechanically loaded onto transport vehicles for shipment to the market. Special apparatus is provided for removing the pallets from the carton stack and for stacking the cartons at varying heights prior to loading into the transport vehicles. In addition a method and apparatus are provided for mechanically loading the transport vehicles with the cartons being stacked in a stable manner to prevent damage to the contents during shipment.

摘要： A modular push-pull unit is provided for installation upon a walkie type fork lift pallet truck of the type having a power unit with tiller-operated drive wheel at one end and a pair of controllably liftable forks at the other with an apron proximate the power unit liftable with the forks. The forks are provided with bearings for tiltably mounting a split platen of the push-pull unit, which includes an upright frame interconnected with the apron by hydraulic cylinders for controlling tilt of the platen. The upright frame carries a scissors mechanism having a pusher plate adapter for pushing and pulling movement across the platen.

摘要： A mobile lift truck for handling unpalletized loads comprising a tiltable load-carrying platform projecting forwardly from the main frame of the truck rotatably mounted so as to permit rotation of the platform about a generally vertical axis of rotation between respective rotatable positions substantially 90.degree. apart. A forwardly-facing push-pull frame having a slip sheet clamp is provided which does not rotate in unison with the platform, enabling the push frame to push loads forwardly off of the platform in both of the rotatable positions of the platform. Power-actuating circuitry is provided interconnecting the platform rotation function, push frame retraction function and slip sheet clamp release function so that the platform is prevented from rotating until the slip sheet clamp has been released and the push frame has been retracted off of the platform. Methods of application of the lift truck are also disclosed.

摘要： An unloading mechanism for fork lifts in which a plate slides over the pallet on a fork lift and pushes the goods off the pallet. The plate is moved across the pallet by two arms connecting the plate to the fork lift and operated by a hydraulic cylinder. Pivotal connection of the plate to the arms permits continuous vertical positioning of the plate during its movement forwardly to remove the goods, the rollers may be used to support the plate and arms on the pallet and to prevent damage to the pallet.

摘要： A load push-pull assembly for a lift truck having a main frame and a tiltable load-supporting frame. The push-pull assembly comprises a push frame connected by a selectively extensible and retractable linkage to a rear mounting frame which does not tilt in unison with the tiltable load-supporting frame but rather maintains a constant angular attitude with respect to the truck-supporting surface regardless of the tilting attitude of the load-supporting frame. The linkage maintains the push frame in a constant angular attitude with respect to the rear mounting frame such that the push frame is maintained perpendicular with respect to the truck-supporting surface during the tilting of the load-supporting frame. The push frame is freely movable vertically with respect to the rear mounting frame, and is supported vertically by the tiltable load-supporting frame, such that it moves vertically with a rectilinear motion in response to the tilting movement of the load-supporting frame without changing its angular attitude with respect to the truck-supporting surface. A slip sheet clamp is mounted on the bottom of the push frame such that both jaws of the clamp move vertically in unison with the vertical movement of the push frame.

摘要： A load cap for use in combination with a lifting skid pallet to permit decking and undecking of unitized sheeted material. The load cap is suitable for use in cooperating relationship with a push-pull attachment found on forklift apparatus. The load cap comprises a planar main body portion, the main body portion having a plurality of linear edges, at least two of the linear edges being substantially parallel to each other. The load cap further comprises a pair of scored side flaps attached to opposite parallel edges of the main body portion, a portion of each of the side flaps is adaptable to be inserted between abutting sheets of the sheeted material. The load cap further comprises a front flap, the front flap being attached to the frontmost edge of the main body portion, the front flap being partially arcuately rotatable about the axis as defined by the intersection of the front flaps with the main body portion. The front flap can be used in cooperating relationship with the platen of forklift apparatus to maintain a stationary pressure on a portion of the sheeted material when the front flap is aligned in a plane perpendicular to the plane defined by the main body portion.

摘要： A pusher device for lift trucks and the like, particularly for sheet-supported loads, in which movement of a pusher structure is effected by a plurality of pusher chains, so constructed that they are rigid when extended in substantially a straight line to compression forces acting along such line but capable of being flexed, in which the free ends of the pusher chains are relatively fixedly disposed and the opposite ends extendable from and retractable towards the movable pusher structure, with the latter carrying the power source for effecting such extension and retraction of the chains. Novel means are also provided for maintaining the chains in desired positions, as well as novel gripping means which facilitates the engagement of the pusher structure with sheet-supported loads and the like.
