    摘要: Disclosed herein is a machine room back cover integrated with a condenser for a refrigerator, which is capable of protecting a machine room in which a compressor as one of elements constituting a refrigeration cycle is provided and serving as a heat emission plate by which coolant heat emitted from a condenser is dissipated outside the refrigerator by contacting with air introduced from the external of the machine room. The present invention provides a back cover integrated with a condenser for a refrigerator, which is provided outside a machine room of the refrigerator, for protecting the machine room containing a compressor for pressurizing coolant evaporated into a low-temperature low-pressure gaseous state by an evaporator into a high-temperature high-pressure gaseous state and a condenser connected to the compressor for condensing the coolant pressurized by the compressor into a high-temperature high-pressure liquid state, wherein said condenser is formed in integral with an inner side of said back cover. In addition, a heat area in which said condenser is contacted with air introduced from the external of said machine room is enlarged by increasing an area of said back cover integrated with said condenser so as to increase an amount of heat exchange of said condenser with the introduced air.

    摘要: A cooling device for installation in a furniture niche includes at least one thermally insulating container defining a cooling space and having a door for sealing the space, and a cooler having a compressor, a condenser, and a ventilator. The base has at least two sidewalls, a front region disposed near the door, a rear region, at least one air supply aperture at the front region, and an exhaust aperture at the rear region. The base houses the compressor, condenser, and ventilator. The base is disposed below the cooling space and is force ventilated by the ventilator through the air supply aperture and the exhaust aperture. The exhaust aperture is in at least one of the sidewalls, preferably, in the rear region of the base averted from the door. Preferably, the cooling device is installed in a furniture niche of a kitchen unit.

    摘要: A modular refrigeration system for use in a cabinet with a front opening for receiving the unit and divided into a lower section and a refrigerated upper section. The refrigeration unit is positioned such that the lower section of the cabinet holds a condenser that is in communication with an evaporator positioned in the upper section for cooling the interior of the cabinet. The condenser includes a condenser fan that draws air from outside the cabinet and across a plurality of cooling coils of the condenser for cooling the refrigerant. Warm air currents are directed by the condenser fan into an exhaust channel that creates an independent flow of air across the condenser's compressor due to an aspiration effect within the exhaust channel. Additionally, the refrigeration unit may be easily removed from or inserted into the cabinet without affecting other modular units in the cabinet.

The cabinet is designed so that the interchangeable storage units and refrigeration unit can be respectfully removed or inserted from the cabinet without affecting the other units.

    摘要: A refrigerator has a machinery compartment at the bottom for housing a motor-compressor unit and a condenser and has an air inlet opening at the front thereof extending substantially across the width of the compartment. The machinery compartment includes a forward section for receiving the condenser and a duct at the rear portion thereof for receiving the motor-compressor unit. The duct has an air inlet at one end for receiving air from the forward section. The condenser extends generally horizontally from one side wall of the compartment across a substantial portion of the forward section. A drain pan is supported above the condenser for collecting water draining from the interior of the refrigerator. The drain pan additionally functions as a baffle to cause air entering the forward section to flow effectively over the condenser. A fan is positioned at the inlet of the duct and the motor-compressor unit is so positioned in the duct that the compressor portion thereof is positioned adjacent to the fan so that substantially all of the air discharged from the fan is directed onto the compressor portion, thereby maximizing the heat transferred from the compressor to the air flowing through the compartment.
