摘要： A socket for coupling an end piece to a leg member of an article of furniture is described. The socket is insertable into an opening in the leg member and the socket has an opening therein for receiving a stem of the end piece. The socket comprises a tubular body having upper and lower ends. The lower end comprises the opening for receiving the stem of the end piece and the upper end is insertable into the leg member. In addition, the socket comprises a washer attached to the upper end of the socket. When the socket is inserted into the leg member, the washer has an interference fit with the inner diameter of the leg member.

The leg support includes, as devices to connect with the leg pole, a pair of sandwiching portions that abut the leg pole and are capable of sandwiching the leg pole therebetween and a fastening device that fastens and connects the pair of sandwiching portions in a state where the leg pole is sandwiched by the pair of sandwiching portions.

The engaging portion includes at least one engaging surface engageable with the engaged portion. The engaged portion includes at least one engaged surface engageable with the engaging portion. The at least one engaging surface is rotated while being moved in a direction of departing from the engaged surface in accordance with a rotation of the engaging portion by the operation lever.

摘要： A caster has a cylindrical housing defining a cylindrical bore with a pair of spaced apart cord shaped journals in the bore. The journals have aligned openings and a shaft extends in the openings and across the space between the journals. A roller is mounted for rotation on the shaft and in the space between the journals and a bearing is mounted between the roller and the shaft. The bearing is between the journals for holding the journals apart and it has an axial length that is greater than the axial width of the roller so that the roller rotates freely between the journals.
