Abstract: According to the present teachings, a system is provided which allows a user or mover to move large, heavy appliances across finished floor surfaces without damaging by scratching, indenting or cracking under the weight of the object. When placing the object on the mover's surface, the weight becomes distributed and absorbed across the mover instead of localized points such as the case with casters, wheels or legs.

Abstract: A replacement furniture glide includes a shell assembly and a foot assembly. The shell assembly includes an upper portion forming a chamber adapted to receive a conventional furniture glide affixed to a furniture leg. A lower portion extends downward from the upper portion. The shell assembly is divided vertically into multiple sections. The foot assembly includes an upper mounting member and a lower floor engagement member that is connected to the mounting member. The shell assembly lower portion is received within an upwardly extending cavity in the foot assembly mounting member to releaseably lock the shell assembly sections together. The shell assembly sections are separated by withdrawing the shell assembly lower portion from the foot assembly mounting member cavity to unlock the shell assembly sections.

Abstract: A furniture slide assembly and its method of use are disclosed for positioning the furniture slide between an object to be moved and the floor upon which the object is moved. The furniture slide comprises a main body having an inner portion and outer surface. Abstract: An improved walker leg tip having a felt nap is provided. The walker leg tip has an arcuate shaped shell with the shell having a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion has an aperture at least partially therethrough, the aperture dimensioned to accept an end portion of the walker leg. The felt nap covers at least part of the bottom portion of the arcuate shaped shell. In some instances, the arcuate shaped shell is spherically shaped and can be made from a polymer, vulcanized rubber and the like. Optionally, a sleeve can extend from the top portion of the shell, the sleeve having a sleeve aperture that is in alignment with the aperture of the top portion and dimensioned to fit at least partially over an end portion of a walker leg. A removable insert can also be included, the insert having an outer diameter dimensioned to fit at least partially into the aperture of the top portion and an inner diameter dimensioned to fit at least partially onto the end portion of the walker leg.
