    摘要: The present invention is a retractable pet leash with a variable brake system to control a pet. The variable braking system can be engaged or disengaged by the user via 3 methods. The first method is via a handle that is directly connected to the brake. The second method, also actuated by the user is a one touch brake system that uses the rotation of the reel to slowly apply the variable brake over several rotations of the reel. The third method allows the user to set the length of the leash cord and when the set length of the cord is met, engages the one touch brake system. The retractable pet leash provides a system to set the length of the leash cord being let out and ensures that the leash cord is kept taught between the user and the pet and notifies the user when the set length has been reached and applies variable braking in a steady and predictable manner to smoothly stop the pet.

The drum body is to be disposed within an interior channel of a pipe coil that is formed from a flexible pipe including tubing that defines a pipe bore and a fluid conduit within a tubing annulus. The drum body includes a drum core implemented with substantially fixed dimensions and a fluid bladder layer implemented circumferentially around the drum core. The pipe drum system maintains the fluid bladder layer in a first state to enable the drum body to be inserted into the interior channel of the pipe coil after the pipe coil is formed and increases inflation of the fluid bladder layer from the first state to a second state to enable an outer surface of the drum body to push against an inner surface of the pipe coil to facilitate supporting the pipe coil.

    摘要: In a reel assembly, a repositionable level wind may be selectively coupled to a drum to enable powered rotation of the level wind from a first position to a second position. In some embodiments, the assembly may include two arced guide rails, a rotating adjustment arm, a roller bracket, a winding assembly and two fork plates, which may be adjustably mounted on the drum. In operation, the fork plates may be moved to an engaged position that couples the adjustment arm and the roller bracket to the reel flanges so that rotation of the reel causes the winding assembly to be rotated along the guide rails. Once a desired position is reached, the adjustment arm and roller bracket may be bolted to the guide rails and the fork plates may be moved to a disengaged position to allow the reel to rotate independently of the winding assembly.
