    摘要: A main valve includes a product pressure inlet, an outlet, a movable closure member and a pressurized head volume above the closure member. Product pressure relief flow through the main valve is controlled by a modulating, pressure operated pilot relief valve that includes a piston chamber with a reciprocally mounted pilot piston. The chamber is in fluid communication with the pressurized head volume and with the outlet and inlet of the main valve. An inlet valve controls flow from the inlet of the main valve into the chamber and is actuated by the pilot piston. A vent valve is mounted within the piston chamber and controls fluid flow from the piston chamber to the outlet of the main valve and is actuated by the pilot piston. The pilot piston includes first and second surfaces and effective areas exposed to the pressure in the piston chamber and an end isolated from the piston chamber and in fluid communication with the main valve inlet. A field test valve is also included with an inlet for the introduction of test pressure. The test valve includes a first outlet in fluid communication with the inlet and a poppet valve mounted between the inlet and first outlet. The field test valve further includes a second outlet in fluid communication with the field test inlet and the inlet of the main valve. A shuttle valve is positioned within the test valve between the field test valve inlet and second outlet.

    摘要: A quick release valve for a vehicle fluid pressure braking system includes a housing having inlet, exhaust and delivery ports. A bead circumscribes the inlet port to provide a valve seating area for a flexible diaphragm within the valve housing, and the exhaust port includes a projecting portion which preloads the flexible diaphragm into engagement with the bead circumscribing the inlet port. Accordingly, pressure variations between the ports cannot force the flexible diaphragm to vibrate to create an undesirable honking noise. Furthermore, the circumferentially extending bead assures a pressure-tight seal with the flexible diaphragm, and also establishes a predetermined sealing area for the diaphragm, thereby reducing valve hysteresis by preventing sealing of the diaphragm at varying areas on the housing.

    摘要: The present differential pressure limiting valve is constructed with an axially movable valve body having hydrostatic bearings including bearing shafts, whereby the bearing shafts are connected to opposite sides of said valve body in axial alignment. Normally the valve body is biased against the valve seat by an adjustable closing spring acting on the bearing shaft or valve body opposite the valve seat to close the valve. In addition, the face end of the bearing shaft opposite the valve seat may be loaded by a pressure medium. The respective diameters of the bearings may differ. However, the effective cross-sections of the valve body are preferally equal on both sides of the valve seat. The present unidirectionally effective valves are especially suitable for use in a parallel circuit, wherein one valve is effective for pressure relief in one flow direction whereas the parallel valve is effective for pressure relief in the opposite flow direction, whereby pressure relief may be provided, for example, for both chambers of a dual acting piston drive cylinder arrangement.

    摘要: A hydraulic system including at least one hydraulic cylinder is provided with an anti-cavitation and overload relief valve having a housing, a first chamber within the housing in fluid communication with one end of the cylinder, and a second chamber within the housing in fluid communication with a fluid reservoir. A fluid passageway within the valve housing connects the first and second chambers. A movable valve assembly is positioned within the fluid passageway for operating in a first mode to block fluid flow between the first and second chambers, for operating in a second mode to permit fluid flow from the first chamber to the second chamber only when the pressure in the first chamber exceeds the pressure in the second chamber by a first predetermined amount, and for operating in a third mode to permit fluid flow from the second chamber to the first chamber only when the pressure in the second chamber exceeds the pressure in the first chamber by a second predetermined amount. The valve includes a stationary portion positioned within the fluid passageway between the first and second chambers having a valve seat. The movable valve assembly includes a movable valve element having a sealing portion for engaging the valve seat of the stationary portion when the movable valve assembly is operating in the first and second modes. The movable valve assembly further has a valve seat and a poppet mechanism is provided for sealingly engaging the valve seat of the movable valve element when the movable valve assembly is operating in the first and third modes.

    摘要: A means for controlling fluid flow including a housing having an input port adapted to be connected to a source of fluid under pressure and also havng an output port adapted to be connected to an apparatus requiring controlled fluid flow or pressure. The housing has a ring-shaped passgeway or orifice provided therein between the input and output ports and is in communicaton therewith. A valve spool is movably mounted in the housing and has an O-ring mounted thereon which is adapted to selectively close the passageway at times when the valve spool is moved in one direction with respect to the housing. One end of a stem is secured to the valve spool and extends therefrom through a seal means provided in the housing. The housing has an adjustable spring loaded diaphragm assembly positioned therein which is operatively connected to the other end of the stem. A spring means normally urges the valve spool in said one direction with the diaphragm spring means normally urging the valve spool in an opposite direction.
