摘要： A combined rail fastener and brace for fastening rails to a railroad tie and to provide lateral bracing for the rail. The rail fastener and brace cooperates with a base plate secured to the railroad tie and includes a torsion spring member having one segment adapted to engage the extending flange of a rail and another segment of the torsion spring member positioned to abut the upper portion of the rail to provide lateral bracing against horizontal forces imparted to the rails during movement of trains thereon.
