    摘要: The present invention includes a hierarchical search process. The hierarchical search process includes three steps. In a first step, a word boundary is determined using a recognition method of determining a following word dependent on a preceding word, and a word boundary detector. In a second step, word unit based recognition is performed in each area by dividing an input voice into a plurality of areas based on the determined word boundary. Finally, in a third step, a language model is applied to induce an optimal sentence recognition result with respect to a candidate word that is determined for each area. The present invention may improve the voice recognition performance, and particularly, the sentence unit based consecutive voice recognition performance.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for extracting a face feature to construct a face search system having a high recognition rate are provided. The method includes calculating an average image of each of a plurality of candidates having one or more face images to which different weights are given according to an order in which the face images are acquired and calculating a total average image of all face images of the plurality of candidates, calculating a between-class scatter matrix based on a difference between each candidate's average image and the total average image and a within-class scatter matrix based on a difference between each candidate's average image and each candidate's predetermined face image of the one or more face images, and generating a base vector that maximizes a criterion defined by a ratio between the between-class scatter matrix and the within-class scatter matrix.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is an ad-hoc multimedia group communication terminal which is robust to packet loss and includes a multimedia transmitter. The media transmitter includes a reception status monitoring module, an error recovery level/traffic adjustment module, a bit stream division and error recovery data generation module, and a media data packet generation module. The reception status monitoring module recognizes packet reception status information relevant to the reception side terminals based on control packets from each of the reception side terminals. The error recovery level/traffic adjustment module adjusts the error recovery level and the amount of traffic of the media data packets. The bit stream division and error recovery data generation module generates error recovery data to be transmitted to the reception side terminals based on the error recovery level. The media data packet generation module generates the media data packets and error recovery data packets.
