Abstract:
An automatic optical plumbing instrument includes: an objective telescopically mounted at a front portion of a telescopic housing adjacent to an object to be observed, an ocular telescopically mounted at a rear portion of the housing adjacent to an observer's eye, and a transparent plumbing protractor defining a plumbing line thereon and mounted in the housing between the objective and the ocular, whereby upon entrance of a vertical line (or plane) of the object into the instrument to form an image therein, a verticality of the vertical line (or plane) of the object can be checked whether the vertical line is aligned with the plumbing line marked on the protractor, thereby providing a plumbing instrument for calibrating a verticality of the object.
Abstract:
A bicycle foot peg of a hollow construction is fastened at one end thereof with a bicycle frame and provided in the inner wall of the open end thereof with an inner threaded portion. A fitting seat is disposed in the hollow interior of the bicycle foot peg and provided with a plurality of slots for holding hand tools such as a screwdriver and wrench. An outer cap is used to seal off the open end of the foot peg such that the outer cap is engaged securely with the outer end of the fitting seat, which in turn is engaged with the inner threaded portion of the foot peg.
Abstract:
A socket includes a housing and a plate secured in the housing and having a number of apertures for slidably receiving a number of rods. A number of posts are secured to the rods and each includes a hexagonal cross section having six surfaces for engaging with the fasteners. A number of springs are engaged with the posts for allowing the posts to be depressed inward of the housing and for allowing the socket to engage with the fasteners of various sizes. The surfaces of the posts may solidly engage with the fastener for solidly retaining the fasteners in place.
Abstract:
This invention is an umbrella in automatic opening and closing manner with its rod in the middle, which has multiple sections, and it is in variable dynamic process including the umbrella's skeleton mechanism, spring, locating device, shuttle arrow, control mechanism, handle, change-over device and pulling rig. Its main novelty is that within the middle rod of the umbrella's skeleton, a contrivance to change is installed. At the ends of the pulling rope in the contrivance to make changes, they respectively reach the lower nest and shuttle arrow. The control mechanism is manipulated by the pressing of of the button to release the umbrella's skeleton in particular position for closing and folding and the reserve energy of the spring. In coordination with both pulling ropes, each section of skeleton is tracted to extend and make the upward movement of the lower next to open the umbrella. The locating device fastens the middle rod at the fixed position to resist against wind. It can release the traction force between sections of the skeleton under the firm control of of shuttle arrow. The spring between branch skeletons in the umbrella is to close the umbrella and to change the place to return to the original point.
Abstract:
A keyboard slide structure which includes a keyboard slide having a top side provided with multiple holes at a front edge thereof, a palm rest removably locked to the holes of the keyboard slide by snap hooks thereof. A sliding mouse pad may be slidably connected to either the left or the right side of the keyboard slide by means of a slide rail means such that the mouse slide may be slid out or in under the keyboard slide in a retractable manner.
Abstract:
A sliding track assembly including a track frame secured to a fixed member and defining two substantially C-shaped sliding grooves longitudinally disposed at two opposite sides and being each other, and a sliding frame fixedly secured to a movable member and having two outward flanges at two opposite sides respectively slidably coupled to the sliding grooves of the track frame, wherein two sliding wings are respectively fastened to the two outward flanges of the sliding frame and moved with the sliding frame in the sliding grooves of the track frame, each of the sliding wing having a longitudinal mounting groove at an inner side, which receives one outward flange of the sliding frame, an outward flange at an outer side, two horizontal springy ribs longitudinally disposed at two opposite sides of the outward flange of the respective sliding wing and defining a respective longitudinal slot, and two arched projections respectively and outwardly raised from the horizontal springy ribs and stopped at a vertical side wall of one sliding groove of the track frame.
Abstract:
A synchronous cloth-rolling apparatus of a knitting machine, including a base fixed on the ground, lateral supports, a cloth-rolling mechanism and a cloth-pulling mechanism. The cloth-rolling mechanism and the cloth-pulling mechanism respectively include a cloth-rolling shaft and a cloth-pulling shaft respectively extending from two sides of the base to connect with bottom ends of the lateral supports. The top ends of the lateral supports are fixed under a knitting rotary disk of the knitting machine. A main shaft is disposed on a center of the base. A sleeve is fitted around the main shaft with two bearings positioned therebetween. A compound bevel gear is fitted around the sleeve with two bearings positioned therebetween. The compound bevel gear has upper teeth meshing with a cloth-pulling bevel gear disposed at a rear end of the cloth-pulling shaft and lower teeth meshing with a torque bevel gear of a torque motor. A fixed bevel gear is secured at a top end of the main shaft and meshes with a cloth-rolling bevel gear disposed at a rear end of the cloth-rolling shaft. When the knitting rotary disk is rotated to drive the two lateral supports to rotate about the base, the cloth-rolling bevel gear planetarily revolves about the fixed bevel gear to make the cloth-rolling shaft rotate.
Abstract:
A soil guard wall assembly includes a plurality of elongated soil guard wall modules each of which has a hexagonal configuration in section and is coupled together with each other so as to form the soil guard wall assembly with a honeycomb shape.
Abstract:
An elongated clamp for holding an object, having a hollow elongated body, a grip fixed with one end of the body, a C-shaped trigger pivotally fixed on the body near the grip, a swingable L-shaped arm having one end pivotally fixed near the other end of the body, a rope stretched between the trigger and the arm and extending along in the body to wind on two roller wheels fixed on the body, the trigger being pulled back manually to pull back the rope, which then pulls the arm to swing toward the body to hold an object between a rugged surface in an end portion of the arm and a rugged surface in a support block fixed in an end portion of the body.
Abstract:
A universal socket wrench includes a housing having an inner bore and an outer opening of different sizes for forming a shoulder between the opening and the bore. The housing has a number of depressions communicating with the shoulder of the housing. A plate is engaged with the opening and the shoulder of the housing and has a number of projections engaged with the depressions of the housing for solidly securing the plate to the housing. A number of spring biased posts are slidably engaged with the plate for driving fasteners of various sizes.
