摘要： An attachment for use with a saber saw which enables the saber saw to make straight non-wandering cuts. The attachment includes a plate which is secured flatwise to the base of the saber saw and a supporting fin extends downwardly from the plate and is located behind the reciprocating blade of the saber saw. The lower portion of the fin has a pair of spaced guides which define a slot to receive the blade. The fin and guide members maintain the blade in perpendicular relation to the base plate and prevent deformation of the blade as a cut is made.

摘要： A rotary planer for use in planing wood or removing paint or other finishes. The planer includes a body or casing having an outer surface adapted to ride on the work surface, and a pair of rotating cutters are journalled within openings in the outer surface and are connected by a drive mechanism to an input drive shaft that is adapted to be connected to a conventional power hand drill. Through operation of the drill, the cutters rotate in opposite directions, and the periphery of each cutter is formed with a series of punched-out teeth which engage the work surface. The trailing edge of the outer surface of the body is provided with a discharge recess and the wood chips are discharged through the recess. An adjustable guide plate is mounted on the body and serves to adjust the depth of cut of the rotary cutters.

摘要： A miter table for use with a saber saw. The workpiece to be mitered is clamped by clamping members to the lower surface of the table and the upper surface of the table is provided with parallel guides which guide the saber saw in movement and are located at an acute angle to the clamping members. A slot is formed between the guides and the blade of the saber saw projects through the slot and is moved into contact with the workpiece as the saw is moved between the guides.

摘要： A heating system comprising a closed conduit containing a liquid which is continuously circulated through the conduit by a pump. An electrical resistance heating unit serves to heat the liquid in the conduit and heat is transferred from the liquid through a heat exchanger to a medium to be heated. A proportional timer is operably connected in the electrical circuit with the heating unit. The timer has a cycle of fixed duration composed of an "on" interval and an "off" interval, with the duration of the "on" interval being variable within the cycle. A temperature sensor senses the temperature of the liquid in the conduit and if the temperture falls below a set value, the sensor acts to operate the timer and energize the heating unit. A second temperature sensor acts to adjust the "on" interval of the timing cycle in proportion to the deviation of the liquid temperature from the temperature setting.
