    摘要: In the present disclosure, an electronic device and a control method thereof are provided. The electronic device for controlling driving of a vehicle of the present disclosure comprises: a sensor; a communication unit; and a processor that, when a user input for setting a destination of the vehicle is received, transmits, to an external electronic device through the communication unit, information about the destination and location information of the vehicle acquired by the sensor, receives, from the external electronic device through the communication unit, at least one road segment corresponding to a road existing in a path from the location of the vehicle to the destination thereof, from among a plurality of road segments in which map information is divided on the basis of branch points in the road, and controls driving of the vehicle on the basis of the received road segment.
