摘要: In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a movable barrier operator including a body, a motor supported by the body, and a rotatable drive supported by the body and configured to be connected to an elongated driven member. The movable barrier operator further includes a shaft supported by the body and a compound gear mounted on the shaft. The compound gear includes a first gear operably coupled to a drive shaft of the motor and a second gear operably coupled to the rotatable drive. The first and second gears connected such that turning of the first gear causes turning of the second gear.

摘要: In one aspect of the present disclosure, an object monitoring system for a secured area is provided. The object monitoring system includes an image sensor operable to capture an image of the secured area and a memory configured to store a machine learning algorithm trained to identify a vehicle in the secured area, the machine learning algorithm including feature maps of training images captured by the image sensor. The object monitoring system further includes a processor operably coupled to the image sensor and the memory, the processor configured to calculate a feature descriptor of the image and to utilize the machine learning algorithm and the image of the secured area to determine whether a vehicle is present in the secured area by determining a correlation between the feature descriptor of the image and the feature maps of the training images.

摘要: A movable barrier operator system is provided that includes a moving-barrier imminent motion notification apparatus, a motor, a controller, and communication circuitry configured to communicate with a remote control. In response to the communication circuitry receiving a communication from the remote control, the controller causes the motor to change the state of the movable barrier and additionally operate the moving-barrier imminent motion notification apparatus upon a determination of the remote control being beyond a physical proximity of a location associated with the movable barrier operator system. Upon a determination that the remote control is within the physical proximity, the controller refrains from operation of the moving-barrier imminent motion notification apparatus.

摘要: A movable barrier operator transmits a message to a remote peripheral platform and, upon determining that the remote peripheral platform is presently able to carry out a given functionality, responsively permits a particular function to be carried out by the movable barrier operator. Conversely, upon determining that it cannot be ascertained whether the remote peripheral platform is presently able to carry out the given functionality, the movable barrier operator responsively prevents the movable barrier operator from carrying out the particular function. Also, upon detecting that a targeted remote platform does not acknowledge a previously re-transmitted message and further upon detecting that this same remote platform has also not acknowledged a subsequent wirelessly-transmitted second message, the system can switch to automatically retransmitting that second message a lesser number of times than would otherwise be required.

The in-vehicle device further includes a processor operatively coupled to the communication circuitry, the sensor, and the memory. The processor configured to determine satisfaction of a user account condition and, upon the user account condition not being satisfied, to inhibit the communication circuitry from initiating automatic operation of the movable barrier operator.

摘要: In one aspect of the present disclosure, a movable barrier operator system is provided that includes a motor configured to turn a drum to pay out a cable from the drum and permit a door connected to the cable to move from an open position toward a closed position. The system includes a memory configured to store an expected variable of the door, and a sensor configured to detect movement of the door. The system further includes a processor circuit operatively coupled to the motor, the memory, and the sensor. The processor circuit is configured to: use the sensor to estimate an actual variable of the door; determine whether the actual variable is acceptable based at least in part on the expected variable and the processor circuit causing the motor to turn the drum; and change operation of the movable barrier upon the actual variable of the movable barrier being unacceptable.
