    摘要: A system for operating a radio frequency identification (RFID) system includes a remotely operable access point at an authentication point. A first trigger sensor detects an RFID signal from an RFID device associated with a user at a first trigger distance from the authentication point. A controller responsive to a signal detected from the RFID device exchanges data with the RFID device and determines whether the RFID device is authorized. A second trigger sensor exchanges data with the RFID device at a second trigger distance closer to the authentication point than the first trigger distance. The controller is responsive to data received from the RFID device at the second trigger sensor to enable the controlled access barrier to grant access to the user at the access point after exchanging data with the RFID device at the second trigger sensor only if the user has been authenticated.

    摘要: A method of providing automatic real-time notifications to at least one user by an electronic locking system includes detecting whether the user is leaving a storage space secured by the electronic lock. The method further includes determining whether a latch of the electronic lock is open upon detecting the user is leaving the storage space. The method includes monitoring a change in location of a device of the user with respect to the electronic lock and displaying a first alert notification on the device if the location of the device is at a threshold level of a communication range and the latch status is open. Subsequently, the method includes determining whether the location of the device is outside of a geofence range in presence or absence of any user response to the first alert notification and displaying a second alert notification if the latch status is still open.

The intelligent boot manager receives an access request for a vehicle. The intelligent boot manager initializes a set of components of vehicle systems of the vehicle in response to the access request. The intelligent boot manager executes a first portion of code from a read-only memory (ROM) location, the first portion of code configuring a processor to initialize a random-access memory (RAM) location. The intelligent boot manager downloads a set of applications to the RAM location. The intelligent boot manager receives an engine start request for the vehicle, wherein the engine start request is distinct from the access request. The intelligent boot manager initiates an engine start sequence of the vehicle in response to the engine start request.
