摘要: A submersible data center (180, 180a, 180b) configured in a water-tight capsule for deployment in a body of water. The data center capsules (180, 180a, 180b) are mounted on a submersible platform (110) of an elevator apparatus (100, 100a), which is equipped with a support leg (130a) or support legs (130) and winches (132) are located near a top of the support leg or each of the support legs. The data center capsules (180, 180a, 180b) can be submerged underwater for operation or be winched up above the water for retrieval/maintenance. A first-time deployment of the support leg(s) (130, 130a) is provided by leg-lowering winches (112) located on the submersible platform (110). Heat exchangers (190) or chillers (190a) are used, or a centralized chiller (190b) is used, to dissipate heat energy from inside the data center capsules (180, 180a, 180b) to the surrounding water. Accompanying methods of operations are also described.

摘要: This application discloses a background subtraction-mediated data dependent acquisition method useful in mass spectrometry analysis. The method includes subtraction of background data from precursor ion spectra of a sample in real-time to obtain mass data of component(s) of interest and performs data-dependent acquisition on the component(s) of interest based on the resultant mass data from the background subtraction step. The present invention also encompasses mass spectrometer systems capable of background subtraction-mediated data-dependent acquisition and computer programs adapted for use in the background-subtraction-mediated data-dependent acquisition. The invention thus provides highly sensitive data-dependent acquisition for minor components of interest in a sample.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a porous polyimide film, comprising reacting an aromatic dianhydride with one or more aromatic diamines in a suitable solvent to form poly(amic acid), adding a dehydrated agent of an acid anhydride and an organic base to the reaction mixture to convert the poly(amic acid) to a polyimide precursor, casting the reaction mixture comprising the polyimide precursor onto a solid support to form a film, coagulating the polyimide precursor in a coagulating bath comprising a mixture of a solvent and a non-solvent to develop a porous structure, and drying the coagulated polyimide precursor in air to form the porous polyimide film. A composite membrane comprising same and its use are also provided.
