摘要: A child vehicle seat is suitable for being placed on a vehicle seat provided with a headrest. The headrest is connected to the vehicle seat by means of at least two uprights. The child vehicle seat at least comprises a backrest and means for connecting said backrest to said headrest in use. Said means can be connected to the two uprights in use. The means comprise at least one hook-shaped element which is movable with respect to the backrest, wherein the headrest can remain connected to the vehicle seat in use while said means are being connected to and disconnected from the two uprights.

摘要: An apparatus for processing, stacking and thereafter collecting printed forms, includes: a dual registering stacking interface, that stacks and accumulates forms in a stack or in a continuing feeding as separate forms; and, a sequencer merger that receives the forms from the dual registering stacking interface and directs the forms in a selected order to an output end. The output end communicates with an accumulator that feeds the forms to a folder. The folder thereafter feeds the forms to a collector to be held until called for by a subsequent downstream device, such as a mail inserter device. The resister, accumulator and collector are belt and/or roller driven devices, wherein the invention provides clutching assemblies for the transport belts and rollers in order to eliminate the streaking of the printed forms when idled forms are held stationary against the transport belts.

摘要: The Proteins of the PR-5 family having a lectin-like β barrel domain control apoptosis in yeast through receptor binding. Receptors that specifically bind to PR-5 proteins having a lectin-like β barrel domain have been found to be homologous to mammalian adiponectin receptors, and such PR-5 proteins can act as functional homologues of adiponectin and control adiponectin response in mammals. PR-5 proteins having a lectin-like β barrel domain, for example osmotin, can be used in the treatment of conditions in mammals which are the result of activation or inhibition of adiponectin receptor-mediated metaboloic pathways. PR-5 proteins having a lectin-like β barrel domain, nucleic acids encoding such proteins, and receptors that specifically bind such proteins, can also be used in screening and rational design of new therapeutic agents for use in mammals.

摘要: An intake control device for a vehicle engine includes: a throttle body; a main throttle valve configured to be opened or closed in response to an operation applied to a throttle grip, the main throttle valve being rotatably supported by the throttle body; a sub-throttle valve configured to be opened or closed under control of an actuator, the sub-throttle valve being rotatably supported by the throttle body; an intake air path formed in the throttle body and provided with the main throttle valve and the sub-throttle valve so as to open or close the intake air path; and a bypass air path that is different from the intake air path and provided with an idle speed control (ISC) valve that is controlled so as to open or close the bypass air path in conjunction with the sub-throttle valve.

摘要: An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system is provided. The UPS system includes a plurality of UPSs, a ring bus that electrically couples the UPSs together, a static switch coupled between an associated UPS of the UPSs and the ring bus, and a controller. The controller receives current data representative of an inverter current and a load current associated with the associated UPS. An output capacitor of the associated UPS is coupled to a node that conducts the inverter current and the load current. The controller further calculates a measured current based on the received current data, determines a voltage of said output capacitor, generates a derived current based on the determined voltage and a predetermined capacitance of said output capacitor, compares the measured current and the derived current to identify a fault location, and controls said static switch based on the identified fault location.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method of monitoring a door gap to determine whether a proper final closed position of doors exists after a closing of doors of rail vehicles, or other vehicles or elevators. The vehicles or elevators have at least one door leaf which is equipped on its main closing edge with an elastically deformable or elastically mounted profile. The position and/or shape of the profile is detected by electric, pneumatic, optical, inductive, capacitive or magnetic sensors or a combination of such sensors in connection with an electronic monitoring system which analyzes the signals of the sensors and, if applicable, determines the existence of the door gap. The method steps include closing the doors, activating the electronic monitoring system after the closing of the doors; monitoring the door gap and determining a final closed position of the doors by the electronic monitoring system.
