摘要： The device includes a substantially cylindrical, oblong, rigid, extension pole having a distal end upon which is formed an articulatable jaw structure head which can be actuated between open and closed positions by the pull of either a medial handle or knob located at the proximal end. A collector sock made from a pliable sheet material can be mounted upon the jaw structure so that the sock enwraps the entire item to be dusted such as a ceiling fan blade. The inner surface of the sock surrounding its open end maw can include asperities and electrostatic, dust adhering fibers to help scrape off and capture fine particles of dust and other debris from the item being dusted. The head can include a pair of parallely separatable cantelevered beams engaging the sock.

摘要： A caddy for carrying window cleaning accessories such as squeegees. The caddy can hang from the waistbelt of a user. The caddy can include a lower reservoir portion hingedly connected to an upper sleeve portion by a hinge. The sleeve loosely engages the oversized brim of the reservoir to form a peripheral drainage gap between the outer surface of the sleeve and the reservoir brim to trap liquids dripping over the outer surface of the sleeve. A releasable lock allows the reservoir to disengage from the sleeve, swing about the hinge and drain the liquid contents of the reservoir.

摘要： A specimen collection, storage, transport, and testing device can include an outer vessel containing an internal cup having an openable drain having a brim raised above the bottom floor of the cup. Once opened the drain allows a portion of liquid specimen to flow from the cup into a lower chamber of the vessel containing a number of chromatographic assay strips. A lid sealing the vessel can include a downwardly projecting guide tube having first barrier sealing a bottom aperture. An oblong initiator can axially engage the guide tube, break the first barrier and open the drain to initiate the test while retaining a pool of liquid specimen in the cup for subsequent confirmatory testing.

摘要： A device, for grasping a limp body, such as a paraplegic or a quadriplegic patient (19), and transferring the body to another location or moving it into a different position, comprises two pivotally connected sections (12,13), one positioned to grasp the torso portion (18), the other the pelvic one (17). The sections can be kept in line with each other or pivoted toward each other to place the patient in a seated position. Each section comprises an upper frame (14) from the opposite longitudinal edges of which extends a pair of articulated grasping members positioned to move astride the torso or pelvis of the patient. The members include series of transversal cantles which can be directed to curl inwardly toward each other and securely enwrap and grab the load. The frame and the supported patient can then be hoisted, moved and deposited into a supine or seating position. Each member includes a series of successively hinged segments tilted by pulling cables.

摘要： A quick release equipment mount includes a support module secured to a fixture such as a wall or pipe and a number of item modules, each of which can attach to an item of equipment such as a fire extinguisher for quick release. The item modules can have two pair of vertically spaced apart hooks which engage two pair of commensurately spaced apart posts extending laterally from an elongated vertical tongue extending from the support module. The hooks are formed on a pair of rails spaced to form a groove slidingly engaged by the tongue. Item modules can have different item interfacing segments for securing in various manners to various types of equipment items while all having similar support module interfacing segments capable of quick release mounting to the support module.

A locking pivot mechanism secured to a middle part of the beam supports a pair of oppositely extending cantelevered booms.
