摘要： Various apparatuses to attach a first medical device to a second medical device are described that allow the physician to grasp only a single device while the other device remains securely attached to the one being grasped. The apparatuses, once they are attached to the first medical device, are designed to be easily and quickly attached and detached to a second medical device, normally only requiring the use of one hand. Furthermore, the apparatuses oftentimes include a base that can easily couple and decouple from the portion that is attached to the second medical device so that if the need arises to separately use the second medical device, it can be decoupled from the first medical device without completely removing the apparatus from the second medical device.

摘要： An adjustable fence post coupler is shown and described. The adjustable fence post coupler includes a fence connection plate. The fence connection plate has a plurality of apertures located through the plate. The apertures allow for fasteners to be placed though and into the fence securing the fence connection plate to the fence. The fence connection plate is connected to at least one connection bolts. The connection bolts are connected to a fence post connection strap. The connection strap has at least one tubes attached to the connection strap. The connection bolts go through the tubes securing them to the fence post connection strap. The fence post connection strap is connected to a fence post. The adjustable fence post coupler is used to adjust the distance between the fence post and an installed fence. This allows for a perfectly upright fence.

A hinge pivotably connects the second end of the first clamp section to the first end of the second clamp section. At least one fastener is configured to releasably connect the first end of the first clamp section to the second end of the second clamp section in a closed position. When the V-band clamp is in the closed position, each fastener extends through an opening in an end face on the first end of the first clamp section and into a bore in an end face on the second end of the second clamp section.

The mechanism may also have an actuating and tensioning device having a main body portion provided with second engagement portions engaged with the first engagement portions, and a force application mechanism affixed to the main body portion for applying a force on the locking member to shift the relative position between the locking member and the clamp member. A furniture assembly using the fastening mechanism is also provided.
