    摘要: The exercise tool includes a rigid base with a torso support extending up from a central portion of the base, and with a pair of handles extending up from lateral portions of the base. The torso support includes padding on at least an upper portion thereof. The padding is contoured to have a non-planar upper surface. The handles can be gripped by fingers of a user while the user rests a backside of a torso of the user upon the torso support, and leg and hip lifting and lowering exercises can be performed. In one embodiment, the handles include multiple separate bars in different orientations to facilitate optimal hand gripping. The exercise tool can be utilized for a large number of exercises with then tool supporting hands, feet, and/or torso or other body portions which benefit from being supported above ground while performing various exercises.

    摘要: During an ablation procedure, such as ablation of the left ventricle of the heart, thermal damage to adjacent structures is avoided by this method. An ultrasound probe is placed within the esophagus near the left atrium, or placed at other locations sufficiently close to the ablation site to image tissues to be protected from excessively high (or low) thermal energy during ablation. The ultrasound probe reflected signal gathered by a sensor thereof is analyzed. Using one or more algorithms, this signal analysis identifies changes in speed of sound of transmitted and received sound waves and correlates the speed of sound changes to changes in temperature of the associated tissues and the result is displayed. Such ultrasound thermometry is used to monitor temperature of tissues surrounding the ablation site to minimize potential for thermal damage thereto. The method also evaluates motion occurring near the ablation site, correcting for such motion.

    摘要: The friction clamp includes a cylindrical body of elongate form between ends and with a slot into which a tubular item is snapped. Lateral connectors such as a receiver with a cylindrical recess therein receive an end of a tubular member, such as a member similar to that which snaps into the slot. As an alternative to the receiver, a tab is provided extending from the clamp laterally. The tab includes a hole through which hardware is placed, and an item having a similar tab is placed adjacent to the tab extending from the clamp and the hardware tightened for fixation at a desired rotational orientation. As another alternative to the receiver, a small friction clamp connector is provided on an exterior of the friction clamp. A small rod (or other item) snaps into the small clamp. The small clamp and rod can be provided separate from the friction clamp.

    摘要: A wireless streaming receiver or other signal input source is coupled to an HDMI slot on a television through a combination cord which includes male and female HDMI connectors at opposite ends of a hybrid cable segment. An HDMI conductor bundle extends along this hybrid cable segment between these HDMI connectors, to couple the wireless streaming receiver to the HDMI slot on the television. The combination cord also includes first and second USB cable segments extending from near each of the HDMI connectors. These USB cable segments extend to either a USB slot on the television to receive power therein or to a USB connector for attachment to a power port of the wireless streaming receiver. The USB conductor bundle extends along the USB cable segments and the hybrid cable segment to provide power from the USB slot on the television to the power port on the wireless streaming receiver.

    摘要: The method begins with an oil which in one embodiment is cannabis crude oil derived from a cannabis plant. Oil is placed within a container having an open upper portion and with the oil preferably only filling up less than half of a volume of the container. The container and oil therein are placed within a vacuum oven where the oil is heated over time to a preselected temperature. A vacuum is then drawn on the oil while it is within the oven. Initial vacuum application is carefully applied to avoid the oil boiling over and out of the container. Vacuum residence time continues for a preselected duration, while gaseous terpenes are drawn from the oven toward the source of vacuum, such as a vacuum pump, by way of a cold trap/condenser. This cold trap is sufficiently cold that terpenes are condensed into a liquid form and collected therein.
