摘要： A pallet base structure including a center deck defining a support surface extending between opposed sides and having at least two lugs extending from each of the opposed sides. A pair of base side members are positioned along respective sides of the center deck. Each base side member has first and second spaced apart base legs and a support member extending between the base legs with at least two corresponding lug receiving slots defined in the support member. The respective lugs are received in the respective lug receiving slots such that the center deck support surface is aligned with an upper surface of each support member to define a planar pallet surface. A packaging system incorporating the pallet base structure is also described.

摘要： An apparatus for fabricating a three-dimensional object from a representation of the object stored in memory. The apparatus includes a drum supported for rotation. A build platform is supported for linear movement within the drum from a first position adjacent a first end of the drum to a second position within the drum. The build platform is rotationally fixed relative to the drum such that the build platform rotates with the drum. A powder feed hopper is fixed at a position above a first portion of the build platform. At least one directed energy source is positioned above the build platform and is configured to apply directed energy to a majority of the remaining portion of the build platform excluding the first portion.

摘要： An apparatus and method for fabricating a three-dimensional object from a representation of the object stored in memory. The apparatus includes a build platform having a build gap defined therein. A base plate is initially supported along a lower surface of the build platform such that an edge of the base plate extends along and closes off the build gap. A powder delivery assembly is configured to supply powder to the build gap. At least one directed energy source is configured to apply directed energy to at least a portion of the build gap to form a layer of the three-dimensional structure. An advancement assembly configured to selectively engage with the base plate and/or the three-dimensional structure to hold the base plate and the three-dimensional structure in a fixed position during forming of a layer and to advance the base plate and the three-dimensional structure once the layer is formed.

摘要： A firestopping apparatus including a housing defined by first and second housing members. Each housing member includes a width direction wall panel and a height direction wall panel.
