摘要： A reusable glove for meat processing plants that is able to be easily donned and doffed, and worn over a liner. A thumb crotch is defined between first sides of the glove's index finger region and thumb region. An imaginary first plane extends generally along the index finger region's first side, beyond the thumb crotch, and through the thumb region. An imaginary second plane oriented at right angles to the first plane extends along a narrowest width of the glove's wrist region and intersects the first plane at an intersection region. An imaginary third plane oriented parallel to the first plane and at right angles to the second plane, passes through narrowest width of the wrist region, and intersects the side of the wrist region at a transition region. The transition region is located outwardly beyond the intersection region and vertically below the thumb crotch.

摘要： There is provided an apparatus and method of inhibiting compression of a flexible tube of an intubated patient using a bite block. The body including at least one resiliently deformable sealed chamber and a tube engaging portion for abutment with said flexible tube, the body being constructed from a resiliently compressible material and comprising a first tapered end, an opposite second end and a mid-region intermediate thereof, wherein said at least one resiliently deformable sealed chamber extending through or into said mid-region. Wherein as the bite force of a patient increases the body is firstly compressed and then the at least one sealed chamber is at least partly deformed, to thereby inhibit damage to said teeth while inhibiting compression of said flexible tube.

摘要： A staple gun and a method of using the same. A stapling mechanism in the housing is activated to deliver a staple through an aperture in a housing wall and drive the staple into a surface around a stack of one or more electric cables. The gun includes a reciprocating cable guide for centering the gun on the stack of cables and closing a safety switch to permit the gun's trigger to be activated. A spacer extending outwardly from the housing wall rests on the upper surface of the cable stack. The spacer and a bumper that engages a hammer of the stapling mechanism provide for automatic depth adjustment when driving the staple into the surface. A reciprocating cable guard extending outwardly from the housing wall is positioned between the stack of cables and the staple to aid in preventing the staple from piercing the cable.

At least one of the amplitude, frequency and relative phase difference of at least one component of the current-exciting signal is modified as a function of the first measured response signal such that a measuring error is minimized, a further measured response signal is determined and evaluated, the value evaluated is used as an evaluation variable, and the battery state variables of the battery cell are determined on the basis of a comparison of at least one diagnostic variable with at least one reference value and/or with at least one further diagnostic variable.
