摘要: A method at a sensor apparatus affixed to a transportation asset. The method includes calibrating the sensor apparatus by initiating a vertical impact at the transportation asset, measuring spring oscillation and creating a model of the transportation asset. The method further includes detecting, subsequent to the calibrating, an impact event at the sensor apparatus. The method further includes measuring spring oscillation due to the impact event at the sensor apparatus and using the measured spring oscillation in the model created during calibration to create a load mass estimate for the transportation asset.

摘要: A memory block is provided that is shared between two endpoints. This first endpoint is either a host for a virtual machine or the virtual machine. The second endpoint is either the host or another virtual machine. The shared memory block includes a buffer, a post counter, and an acknowledgment counter. The block is employed for communicating data from the first endpoint to the second endpoint. Sending data to the second endpoint includes identifying the buffer as being currently owned by the first endpoint and storing data in the buffer. It is then detected that the acknowledgment counter is equal to the post counter. The post counter is then incremented to signal that data has been stored for receipt by the second endpoint. Receiving the data by the second endpoint includes detecting that the post counter has changed and then incrementing the acknowledgment counter to acknowledge receipt of the data.

摘要: Methods and systems for identifying individual installation instances of a software product. A plurality of consecutive heartbeat messages is received from an installation instance. Each heartbeat message includes a respective identifier that was transmitted to the installation instance in response to a previous heartbeat message. In response to each heartbeat message, a unique identifier is generated. The unique identifier is linked, in a historical list of identifiers, to the respective identifier. The unique identifier is also transmitted to the installation instance to be used as the next identifier in the plurality of heartbeat messages.

摘要: A method of echo cancellation in hands-free communication is disclosed. The method includes: receiving, via a receive signal processor, a far-end audio signal; providing the far-end audio signal to: an acoustic echo canceller module as a reference signal, and at least one loudspeaker for playback; determining an external gain value associated with the far-end audio signal, the external gain applied to the far-end audio signal downstream of the receive signal processor and prior to playback from the at least one loudspeaker; adjusting at least one parameter of the acoustic echo canceller module based on the external gain value; receiving playback output of the far-end audio signal from the at least one loudspeaker as an input signal to a microphone; and processing the microphone input signal by the adjusted acoustic echo canceller module to produce an echo-cancelled signal.

摘要: A method for control of data transmission in a wireless communication system includes receiving, by an application, from a modem, information indicative of a radio coverage condition, where a user equipment (UE) includes the application and the modem; based on the received information, determining that the UE is in an enhanced coverage state; and in response to the determining, controlling uplink data transmission by the modem to reduce power consumption of the UE.

摘要: A method automatically verifies information to ensure it is rendered correctly on a display screen. The method generates an electronic configuration file that controls the interactions between a graphics monitoring unit and a system application stored in an electronic memory. The method retrieves data stored in a portion of a display's memory that holds the content of a screen image to be rendered on the display screen and compares the data stored in a portion of a display's memory with second data provided by the system application to verify that the screen image is displayed on the display screen correctly. The method transmits the results of the comparison to the system application.

摘要: A system and method receives a spoken utterance and converts the spoken utterance into recognized speech results through automatic speech recognition modules. The system and method renders a composite recognition speech result comprising the recognized speech results joined in a return function. The system and method interprets the recognized speech results joined in a return function from each of the automatic speech recognition modules through multiple conversation modules.

摘要: A method to detect hardware and software errors in an embedded system is disclosed. The method includes: detecting or measuring, by a plurality of sensors, an operating state of the embedded system; operating a plurality of replicated computation engines in group synchrony, wherein the plurality of replicated computation engines are replicated instances of a single computation engine and wherein the plurality of replicated computation engines are grouped into one or more groups such that, for each group, each member of the group starts in a same processing logic state and processes same events in the same order; intercepting output of the plurality of sensors and transmitting the output to each replicated computation engine of a group in a defined order; and actuating selected computation engines of the plurality of replicated computation engines and arbitrating between outputs of the selected computation engines.

摘要: Systems and methods for enforcing mandatory access control in a message-based operating system are provided. Calls to operating system logic may be passed as messages over communication channels in a message-based operating system. A first process configured to receive a message via a communication channel in a message-based operation system may be identified. In addition, the communication channel may be identified. Further, an access rule may be identified. The access rule may be a rule to govern access to the communication channel. The access to the communication channel by the second process may be controlled based on the access rule. The access may be controlled in a kernel of a message-based operating system. The second process may be configured to execute invocation logic. The invocation logic may be executable to send the message via the communication channel.

摘要: Systems and methods for enforcing label-based mandatory access control are provided. A first label may be assigned to a resource. An event associated with a resource may be detected. The resource may be relabeled, in response to detection of the event, from a first label to a second label in accordance with a transition rule. The transition rule may be included in a security policy. The transition rule may indicate that the resource is to be relabeled to the second label if the event is detected. Access to the resource may be controlled according to an access rule in the security policy. The access rule may be applicable to the resource based on the access rule identifying the second label assigned to the resource.
