Abstract: Described herein are methods for making and using antibodies that bind specifically to soluble oligomers of amyloid beta protein (oAβ), and methods of use thereof in diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to formation of pathogenic oligomers of oAβ. Also provided are T helper cell (Th) carrier peptides that can be conjugated to peptide immunogens to stimulate targeted humoral immune responses to the desired antigen.
