摘要: A vacuum cleaner separation system having: a cyclone tube having a cyclone chamber and an inner wall having a substantially cylindrical appearance defining a center axis; an inlet channel offset with respect to the center axis for receiving dust laden air; a dust outlet for discharging dust from the cyclone tube; an air outlet for discharging air from the cyclone tube; and a helical member arranged within the cyclone tube in an opposite region of the cyclone tube with respect to the air outlet. The helical member defines or partly defines a helical passage around the center axis from the inlet channel to the cyclone chamber for generating a centrifugal flow in the cyclone chamber. The helical passage has a substantially constant cross sectional area and the helical passage is rotated 360° or less than 360° around the center axis.

摘要: A robotic cleaning device and a method at the robotic cleaning device of performing cliff detection along a surface over which the robotic cleaning device moves. The method includes illuminating the surface with at least one light source, capturing an image of the surface, detecting at least one illuminated section in the captured image, and determining distance to objects in the at least one illuminated section of the captured image. The method further comprises comparing at least two of the determined distances and detecting an object in the captured image as a cliff when cliff when a relation between the at least two compared determined distances complies with a predetermined increase criterion.

摘要: A vacuum cleaner dust container having a dust bag, made of an air permeable material, and a connector plate, surrounding an opening in the dust bag. The connector plate is configured by the connector plate being slid into a holder of a vacuum cleaner to correctly position the opening therein. The connector plate has a central portion surrounding the opening, and an extending portion projecting from the central portion. The extending portion has a lower bending stiffness than the central portion about an axis perpendicular to the direction in which it is inserted. Thereby extending portion can be bent out of the plane of the central portion and into a curvature without bending the central portion, which facilitates fitting the connector plate in a vacuum cleaner canister with curved inner walls.
