    摘要： An injection molding apparatus having a non-return valve assembly mounted on the front end of an extruder screw within a heated barrel for accummulating a charge of thermoplastic material in the forepart of the barrel by the retrograde and rotary movement of the screw when the valve is in open position, and by ejecting the charge through a nozzle mounted at the front of the barrel by the reverse reciprocating movement of the feedscrew, which simultaneously forces the valve to close and prevents escape of the material backward into the barrel along the screw. The valve is formed of two components, one of which is shaped with a convexly contoured annular protuberance which is alternately spaced from the other one, and in close abutment therewith, in the alternate movements of the feedscrew, with only screws or bolts connecting the two, to permit freedom of movement therebetween.

    摘要： A holder of molded plastic material for retaining a coin or medallion in centrally spaced relation from the walls of a square perimetric frame by means of four equally spaced slightly curved resilient projections extending inwardly from the walls. The projections are molded integrally with the walls of rectangular section, and are of the same height as the latter. The thickness of the projections diminish from their junctions with the walls, and the rectangular cross-sections thereof diminish correspondingly towards their ends. The resulting flexibility of the projections makes possible the pressing thereof against the periphery of a small coin or medallion. The lengths of the projections may be varied so that when they are short, the outer ends thereof are pressed against the peripheral wall of a coin at uniformly displaced points. A holder with longer projections permits the retention of a coin of smaller size by the yieldable convex edges of the projections against spaced points of the periphery. The holders of the invention securely embrace coins or medallions to permit the close inspection thereof, and may form permanent or detachable inserts in transparent plastic containers for displaying and shipping valuable items such as gems, coins, medallions and the like.

    摘要： A container of molded plastic material for storing, shipping or displaying precious gems, coins or other small valuable articles which require special handling. The container is comprised of three separate components,--a base providing a seat or storage receptacle for one or more of the articles, a rockable cover therefor, and a latch for locking the cover in its closed position. The cover may be fused to the base in the latter position if an additional factor of safety is desired to prevent tampering with the articles in the course of transit. A portion of the base may be used for bearing indicia and advertising matter relevant to the articles. The completely detachable rockable cover for the articles may function additionally as an inclined support for the container in display position, and the latch may assume the form of a completely detachable slide cooperating with a finger tab on the cover on the end of the container opposite the rocking axis of the cover, to conceal the tab and thereby to prevent the opening movement of the cover. Cooperating projections and depressions on the top and bottom of the container, respectively, permit convenient and reliable stacking and maintenance of the containers in proper alignment in a shipping or portable sample case.

    摘要： A combined garment hanger of molded plastic material composed of a pair of symmetrical lateral arms inclined downwardly from a central head portion and joined at their lower ends to a horizontal supporting bar by corners of relatively large surface area. The arms, bar and corners are structured with thickened marginal edges which embrace webs of lesser thickness. A U-shaped clasp is molded simultaneously and integrally with the hanger at each corner, and is readily severable from the finished hanger by frangible tabs of small dimensions which serve as gates for the plastic material during the molding operation. The clasps serve to clamp a garment to the hanger which may be suspended or supported thereon.
